Taylor Venz gave Zahid all he could handle in 8-7 loss.

He was also very very close to getting a reversal as time expired that would have won him the match

Already some good action so far.

Woods from Stanford gave Pletcher al he could handle.

I think very highly of Dlagnev

And if he goes 97kg no better team to prepare him for Snyder

Tervel is pretty much his only worthwhile training partner. That said, outside of State College, there really isn't any place that has an upper weight that can actually give him a match.

Myles Martin and Kolin Moore aren't bad drilling partners. Saw a rumor Gadsen might join them

Cenzo handles Mekhi at the Farrell and I'm really not surprised. Let's pump the breaks with all the Mekhi hyperbole.

He's a Jr World champ and won a stacked weight at NCAAs last year.

This loss doesn't change that.

Still picking Lewis in March

I figured Nolf and Imar to be considerably better than Lewis. I genuinely didn’t understand why anyone thought he was going be on their level or better. Hype I assume. That said I was surprised Cenzo beat him. Not sure I’d count on it happening again. As of now Lewis is at best 5-6 domestically.

Surprised VT upset the Buckeyes. tOSU is young though so they’re going to take their lumps.

Just watched Nolf / Imar final. Was Nolf hurt (I saw the knee wrap)? Imar has really had his number lately. Strange to see Nolf get dominated in the hand-fighting game (an area he excelled at in college). Martinez always had solid technique with top-notch strength & aggressiveness, but his technique, particularly the front headlock & underhook systems he uses, has really flourished in the past couple of years. I think he is a threat to both Burroughs and Dake for 74 kg.
