NBA NBA Thread: Gamble Gate

I mean, what are you saying, he's basically Kristaps Porzingis? If Wemby stays healthy he's an all time great, if he can't stay healthy he's a bigger "what if" than D Rose.

Pordingus is nowhere near what Wemby is , Somehow Wemby is talller with much better handles and also has better overall sense. But that might be why he gets himself Injured in a slightly different way Pordingus is the too big so body can't handle that up and down wear and tear. Wemby is out there doing way more athletic things and there's no way someone that tall can handle that wear and tear over a season even if he is light for his height.

As I explained to Croaker, I didn't mean Porzingis is as good as Wemby. I meant Porzingis is 7'2" and was considered a "unicorn" but he can't stay healthy. Same with Zion. Unstoppable when healthy but never healthy. But yes, I agree with you.

Not really what I meant. Poor-Zingus was labeled a unicorn and he's 7'2". He was the x-factor that helped the Celtshits win their last ring, but he's always hurt. Wemby, although far more of a freak athlete, may suffer the same sort of thing we see with Zion. Unstoppable when healthy, but never healthy.
I mean, yeah, it helped he was the 4th all nba level player skill wise they had on their team. Tingus Pingus wasnt even healthy for the Celshits most of the year lmao

The Mavs had no answer for him in the Finals, he's a F'ing mismatch on the perimeter against anyone not named Wemby, not really my point though. 7'2" and always injured, that's the point. I feel like Wemby could win 6 DPoY's but he won't because he might never play enough games. That seems like a real possibility with this guy.

Lmao.

I think the only people that actually respect LeBrick are a bunch of females on a karate forum.

WTF happened to the Cavs? They lost today to the Hornets to move to 15-12 on the season. They won 64 games last year! What am I missing here? Injuries or something, damn, talk about falling off a cliff.

Didn't they kind of overperform last year, though? Young team that put it together for a year? I don't really follow them, but that's what it feels like.

OKC goes down in the Emirates cup.

Last year they made it to the finals and lost.

What did those two games have in common? SGA only getting 4 free-throws.

Interpret that as you will.

My favorite is when that little bastard jumps about 4 feet forward in his jumpshot and lands like the hulk coming out of orbit to get foul calls on anyone even remotely close to him. It basically means nobody can be within 5 feet of SGA when he shoots or it will be a foul because he leaps forward.

Yikes, 16 points on 25 shots. It happens.

Paul George actually had himself a night.

It happens, but he jacked up a bunch of really bad shots.

It’s been a problem in the past, he’s gotta get the ball moving a bit more, those isolation actions are too predictable.

He’d open himself up more if he didn’t iso every single play.

Wemby being saucy.... calling OKC out:

Well, he's the Usage Merchant for a reason. But he is still young and can tilt his game a bit to get his team offense more to the efficiency frontier. It's something Wilt had to learn to do and did, and Embiid before becoming Street Clothes for the umpteenth time was improving, as was Giannis to a lesser extent.

Lmao. Dude's legitimately retarded.

Good to see the rigging is in peak form.

I don't know what it is about the Blunder but they are a very hateable team. The most punchable faces on any single team in the league IMO.

The less good Jay will that’s always on the bench is so annoying!
