The nba cup will mean shit in the future when they’re splitting hairs about who tha future GOATs are.

The games do kinda feel like they mean a little bit more at least.

Lakers going to win, Luka dropping 44 to make up for it man. Could be worse, that Jizz team beat my Mavs in OT a couple days ago. Then the Mavs turn around and beat the PISS-tons in OT tonight.

The amount of blow-bys is embarrassing. Felt like he had at least 45 points scored on him alone, maybe more.

He needs to take a defensive trainer with him to Slovenia next off season. Yeah hes not really built physically to be a defender, but man he’s out of position on like 60 percent of defensive plays..

The Jazz looked good though. Crazy the level that a lot of these modern nba role players are getting to, Jazz played quality basketball, the shooting was clean / top notch. And they’re considered to be a really shit team..

Bro, 45/11/14 is crazy shit. He has become an enigma. I'm not sure we've ever seen an offensive engine like Luka and yet the criticisms against him are wild. I understand he struggles on the defensive end but I'm not sure a lot of fans even comprehend how normal these stat lines are for him.

He also turns the ball over and takes some ridiculous shots sometimes for heat checks that leads to giving up points lol

Not Curry or Dame level bad by any means though

There is no perfect player and I'm well aware of Luka's weaknesses. I just saw a ton of people on social media talking shit about him last night and it occured to me how crazy it is that Luka has become an enigma. Last night he had 45/11/14, 1 turn over, 5 steals. He's only the second guy to post a stat line like that in the last 50 years. Meanwhile we got MF'ers on X stating the Lakers would win more games without Luka. Its insane.

 
The mighty Joker has surpassed Kareem Abdul Jabbar on the all-time assists leaders list. And now occupies the #1 spot for a center.

Kareem played 1,560 games. Jokic 771.

In the end, defense is mostly about physical effort. Yeah, there's some positioning involved but it's mostly about how much energy you're willing to spend hawking defenders, cutting passing lanes, etc.

Skinny Lucuck has more energy now but he's spending it all on the offensive end. It's not ideal but you can be a traffic cone on defense and still win championships.

I think Luka is on trajectory for top 5 player all time. I'm not overly concerned about individual games, but if he made small changes to his offensive game it would impact winning. His best ability is that in the playoffs the games slow down so he doesn't have to keep up on fast breaks as often. So he's always going to be a postseason threat.

Its also about physical ability. Slow feet get got in the NBA.

Never been easier to score. Most guys are too worried about their IG/Twitter/DMs to play defense. But, Luka did buy everyone e-bikes. Good guy, Luka.

Yea the post season slower more physical pace would help explain how he actually averages more in the playoffs than he does the regular season, which is pretty insane considering what he does in the regular season.

You say that like Luka doesn't play into contact which is objectively harder than creating separation.

Not only is defense better today, but scorers are significantly better. So yeah, by actually having skills its easier to score lmao
