Like a lot of people, I thought he'd be a bit of a defensive-minded player like Kevin Garnett or maybe Amare Stoudemire, and not a truly elite scorer.

Gonna have to rethink that now. His development is impressive.
 
Kevin Durant was a defensive monster last night. Doesn't get enough credit for that. He was blocking shots all over the place like Motombo.

He's already set multiple records for "youngest player", youngest with 10+ assists in a game, youngest 35 point game, then youngest 40 point game, youngest with at least 3 consecutive games with 20+ points. Its only been 27 games so far. He has to work on his handle, and his 3 ball, but holy shit, he is exceeding even the high expectations that were put on him.

Is Wemby on limited minutes? I missed the game but noticed he only played 25 minutes. Slurs must have used all their magic dropping off the Blunder.
