NBA NBA Thread: Gamble Gate

They'd be like 24-2 without him.

Really underrating 33 ppg on 69% TS here. And for all the crying about FTA its wild Deni Avidja and Austin Reeves are taking 0.6 FTA less a game than SGA and no one says a peep.

Jokic is having an unreal season though, doubt we will see another SGA MVP without some historic regular season team success. Gonna need another 68ish wins to pull out another one.

Not sure about that, the voters would happily give SGA a second one.

Jokic is an all time offensive player, he’s also about as marketable as canned Bulgarian crab meat.

This is why I’m dubious about Reeves, hes consistently choking in these big games against athletic physical defenders.

I dont think anyone thinks they can build a franchise around him. I'm not watching the game, but the box score shows a big difference in points off turnovers and FTA/M.

With that alone I'm curious how the Spurs got to the line so much compared to the Lakers and why they turned the ball over so much. Those two details mean more than an individuals statistical output. We're talking All NBA player differential lol

Spurs played really well. In the first half their 3 point shooting was freakish, they couldn’t miss.

They got to the line a lot because they moved the ball well and castle and fox were driving super hard in the paint, both played great.

Austin went into his usual puppy mode in these situations, he got pressured, got flustered and was was getting stripped and cornered in the paint, smoked a bunch of lay ups.

These cans incessantly whining after every obvious call is hilarious. Fluka is a mess with that shit.

It would serve them well to try and be like the GOAT.

But Lefruad had a dunk while down 20 though !

Such a horrible offensive system , Fluka and Lefraud isolation 1vs1 pass out praying to be bailed out by dweebes and Marcus shart.

Spurs are interestingly constructed. Wemby out, but when he's in the style of play is vastly different. Doesn't seem like there's that much a pick-up given change in style.

Hard for me to say.. ive only seen 6 of their games this season.

Every game ive seen of Castle ive been impressed. Long, efficient, can defend, runs the floor.

If Wemby can stay healthy, and they add another decent piece they could rival OKC I reckon. Like I said though I haven’t watched heaps of them but I like what I see.

Not even a debate. LeGoat > goat degenerate
stat padder at the cost of his own teammates
crushing any chemistry left in that team

Damn I was hoping my beloved Heat could capture the prestigious NBA Cup just like my beloved Miami Flamingos just won the soccer world title.
