Movies Name Your 3 Favourite Movies of 2024

The three most recent movies I've watched are Sicario, Joker, and Manchester By the Sea. All were fine.

Maybe I'll get to a 2024 movie some time around 2028.

My last pick is going to Super/Man: The Christopher Reeves Documentary. I saw this in the theater with no one else there. It was the most enjoyable movie theater experience for me this year and in many years.

I actually just watched the Reeve doc....damn. That was emotional as f. He was my generations primary comic book hero. Still the best clark/superman imo. To watch that was painful in so many ways. I didnt even realize his wife died just a year later. Heartbreaking shit. Ya, this was a solid one.

Yeah the wife thing was really sad. She spent roughly 7 years every day taking care of him only to pass away shortly after him. Really shame but that was true love right there. It was really endearing to watch. Very emotional and wonderfully done. It was crazy to find out his final film role was a paralyzed man.

Beekeeper - imo .maybe the best ever Statham movie.

nah, i’d definitely say it was dynamite, especially when taking independent/smaller budget & international features into consideration. there are probably like 40+ movies that i’d rate 7/10 or higher

Deadpool and wolverine...not sure what others I have seen that came out this year. Lol.
Haven't seen any of the ones listed here.

  1. Wild Robot- One of the better animated films in the past few years. (This will likely be my favorite movie of the year but would need to see Inside Out 2 to see if it is better or worse)
  2. Monkey Man- Super violent, not violent as Terrifier, but I enjoyed that movie.

This might get criticism but I am hope Sonic The Hedgehog 3 ends up being good. The first two have no reason being as good as they ended up being.

I loved the Wild Robot as well - it was probably the best animated film I have seen since Up.
