Beetlejuice Beetlejuice and Smile 2 were my 2 favourite movies i really enjoyed in the theater this year. Beetlejuice Beetlejuice because of how funny it was and Smile 2 for how scary it was.




My last pick is going to Super/Man: The Christopher Reeves Documentary. I saw this in the theater with no one else there. It was the most enjoyable movie theater experience for me this year and in many years.

Terrifier 3 was awesome.
Deadpool was pretty good. Haven't seen The Substance yet but I hear good things.

I don't watch near any movies as much as I should but there are 2 on my list for 2024.

1. Wild Robot- One of the better animated films in the past few years. (This will likely be my favorite movie of the year but would need to see Inside Out 2 to see if it is better or worse)
2. Monkey Man- Super violent, not violent as Terrifier, but I enjoyed that movie.

This might get criticism but I am hope Sonic The Hedgehog 3 ends up being good. The first two have no reason being as good as they ended up being.

There were no best of 2024. I could maybe give you my 3 best in the last 4-5 years. Thats literally how sad the state of filmmaking is atm.

Even the films they tell you are great are at best 6.5, maybe 7s. 7.5-8 is a classic by todays standards.

When someone says netflix or amazon, then follows it up with exclusive movie. I just refuse to even comment.

Actually had a chance to see that locally but was too busy, I believe Mubi are putting it out on UHD disk as well.

Inside Out 2 was great as long as you aren't pedantic like me and made how the added emotions break the magic system
