I decided to stop beating myself up about being un motivated lately and just get the fuck back into the gym mon.wed,fri.
 
october 27th

deadlift 1x5 315lbs

Gonna add more weight next week to all teh lifts, Im gettign my strength back.

Was going to start a whole new workout log as I have not been goign lately but decided against it as aI want to look back at this, this tim enext year and see how I overcame spouts of being a lazy unmotivated old man. Plan to start GOMAD up again and MT next week 2x a week to get rid of my gut.

All I can do right now is start from where I am again and suck it the fuck up like a man.

Squat 3x5 205 lbs felt ok.

Bench 3x5 200 lbs was hard probably stiock to this weoight friday as well

Deadlift 1x5 315 hard but felt good.

Thought about doing som dips but said fuck it will try to get those in next week after I have a week of my body getting used to lifting again.
 
I think you were doing fine until you hit the pneumonia. Consistency is king in this game, and it's easy to get derailed. Glad to see you back in the logs.
 
Yeah man, the phnemonia really ko'd me then I had someoen close ot me die suddenly and I went on an epic bender. Im back now, and committed to going consistantly.

still having toruble with consistancy, my legs were hurt after the last squat session I could barely walk for 3 days. Today I ate my pride and went down to 185lbs.

dec 20th Im basically gonna try and get some baseline numbers for a new log in the new year.

bench 3x5 190lbs somehow my bench has dropped ALOT fuckign did teh roll of shame on the last rep. There was a couple hot chicks watchign too. I didnt notice before hand. Good times

Deadlift 1x5 315. w/u sets 225 overhand grip.

Made it to the gym even though my legs are still crippled from mondays squats.

Squats 4 sets of 8 at 135lbs, took it easy cuz my quads are hurting

sohp 3x5 115lbs

power cleans 3x3 155lbs.

when I make it to thegym friday it will be my first week of actually gettign in 3 workouts in a LONG time.

God damn it, I had a new log title all planned out and did everything but post it. Somehow I can't leave this log to die.

New year goals for 2011.

#1 Only drink on special occasions
#2 realize tuesday night is not special
#3 lose my gut
#4 get fucking strong, where people leave posts saying "nice lifting man"
#5 eat alot of whole foods, and get plenty of rest
#6 Put my "big boy pants" on 1 leg at a time.

Went to Muay Thai today, there is a gym literally around teh corner from me and some guys I know from BJJ go there so I decided to give it a shot.

I used to box from age 13-25 so I figured it would be ok.

Basically 45 minutes of circit work, enough to make me want to die, which is good.

6 rounds of pad work then anouther 15 minutes of circut work.

I plan to go to lift later on, we will see how I feel.

I may switch to a twice a week lifting program.



Weights later in the evening after a nap.


Squat 45/135/135/185 3x5 190lbs

Press 45/95/95 3x5 115lbs

Powercleans 135/135 5x3 140lbs.

Chins 3 sets 7/5/3......yeah I know horrible.

Still sore as fuck from going ape shit on Monday with Muay Thai and Lifting, but if Im gonna get my big boy pants on, these are the days that count.

felt awsome, most I ever deadlifted the last rep I felt like T-rex busting a huge nut.

It amazes me I can squat 230lbs 5x5 but I get fucked up from pussy BW squats.

This spare tire I got from GOMAD has to go, my cardio is dead.

Went to the submission grappling class, was nice and easy paced. basically drilled guard passes for an hour then rolled for about 30 min.

Clearly the best of all of your goals. You need to do it while you are saying something dramatic, too, maybe about crushing the opposition, or crushing someone who is in your way.
