submission grappling class. Got paired with a gorilla who is 5'7 250lb and thinks its the mundials. Fuckign moron neck cranked me. Im not going to this class anymore without my regular training partner for bjj.

Muay Thai for 2 hours. Crazy sit ups and circuts and pad work. My shin and foot is fuckign purple. Gotta Hang Bang though.

chins are so much harder then when I weighed 170lbs. Training aint supposed to be fucking easy I reckon.

Side note: Tons of retards doing insane shit, swore a guy was in his pajama's doing shit on the curl machiene. Then a guy came to the squat rack besdie me with a giant bag. Looked liek he was gettign ready to go camping, loaded up a whopping 15lb on teh 45lb bar did 5 "presses" then walked away with his workout sheet, then this other retard ran over and began squatting the weight....... amusing

Hard workout mentally as I had not eaten right the past two days and my body was sore, but I always feel its these workouts that make the difference, not the ones where I feel like a monster and am crushing everything. Was very happy that I finished all the sets/reps when it would have been easy to leave early.
 
Muay Thai for 1.5 hours today. Cardio slowly getting better, but my weight is steady at 202-206. Im not losing my gut.

Was supposed to go lift this evening but decided to give it a rest, will hit it tomorrow after the light grappling class

Went to Grappling with my buddy was good, rolled with a few guys, smashed guards left right and centre.

was mistaken on mondays #'s it was only 130lb so today was 5lb added. Nice to get a 45 plate on each side.


So my body is screaming at me "Fuckhead you are going to be 36 in a few months.......you cant train like a maddog, you are not in your 20's"

Next week will be a de load week of sorts, I plan to do about 75% of my regular weight to give my body time to recover. I may only go twice. My back is a fuckign pretzel.

If the bears lose tomorrow I may go on a drinkign bender....

Really? I just try to get properly warmed up and a good amount of blood to the muscles. Im terrified of serious injury from somethign gay like not being warmed up.

Anyhow, BEAST MODE today, the week off training really helped me recoup. If I burn out like that again IM going to drop squats from wed, workout and see if that helps.

Masses, relative to me. I do something like the squence from the SS Wiki- 2x5 on empty bar, 2x3 ar 40% work set weight, 2x2 at 60% weight and 2x2 at 80% work weight. It's nothing compared to what you're doing and the only two injuries I have had came from lifting heavy weights with really improper technique- it wasn't a warmup issue. That being said, all the extra sets your doing compared to me must be really good additional work, get technique practice, etc. And you're obviously used to it. So more power to your arm, I say.

I see lots of progress with the strength here... how's the sanity coming along?
 
Meh, I still hate the vast majority of people I meet. I often wonder how I ever landed a job in a "helping profession" and Im surprisingly good at it.

I am able to control my urge to slap people.

Felt great 300 was real hard, I will get the 315lb real soon. I had a cramp in my calf that I feel hindered my potential max today, but was real happy to get 300 which is just under 1.5x my BW.

You are going to Cuba? I am jealous. Be sure to take some cool pics and share them. I have been to Puerto Rico a few times and loved country and the people. From what I have seen, Cuba seems to have an amazing culture and people also. I would love to go there.

I just kept adding weight and it didnt really feel heavy so I just kept going. I had a good 2 hour nap before I went to the gym, I also ate alot today and had a massage.

SS is great its just getting a bit tiresome after a few months straight.
