Yeah, we both know that won't happen though lol. I think most Brazilians would rather get a spot on the contender series for 5/5 than a 50k to show contract with PFL or Bellator.

Yep, got him in my MW top 10, looking forward to it.
Dumas impressed, like people in the live thread were saying, we shall see what happens when he faces someone who can survive the first round

Country - Mexico
Weight Class - Welterweight
Age : 24
Promotion - LUX
Record : 3-0

Going in early on this guy. First off he's a six foot six welterweight. That's absolutely ridiculous. Secondly he seems to be able to use that reach well, landing strikes at range and then punishing opponents when they have to try and close the distance against him somehow. The dude who tried this time got spectacularly knocked out by a high kick that he turned into a knee when the opponent tried to shoot.

Only fought very low level opposition so far, but looks a potential gem to me.

@Hellowhosthat I thought Lone'er Kavanaugh looked pretty great for a 2-0 guy, needs to up the striking defense, but his cardio, boxing, and athleticism looked UFC level already

Yeah he looked good, he's on my radar now. It was a good performance against an extremely low level opponent, but I liked the speed he covered distance with.

Promotion - Eternal MMA
Record : 9-2

This guy already looks like one of the best boxers in the sport. Watching him for 5 rounds against Rod Costa was impressive as fuck as he showed he can both box going forward with pressure and counter box when his opponent comes to him equally well.

Beautiful combination punching, working the body just as well as the head, a great stiff jab, a steady output and mixing in high kicks and leg kicks in beautifully so the opponent has no idea what he's going to get hit with next.

Also seems to be able to keep it on the feet by defending takedowns well using an underhook and a turn whenever an opponent tries to engage the upper body and a quick sprawl and disengagement whenever they shoot.

The only reason he didn't get a finish is that his opponent was tough as fuck, but to give you some context of how dominant a performance it was, I scored it 50-42.

Ridiculously impressed with this dude.

It would be difficult to overstate my excitement if Mitch McKee and Bryce Mitchell end up on the same card.

Not a dude I'm going to start a train for at this point, but are you aware of Egyptian wrestler Hamdy Abdelwahab. I caught him beating up a dude on Ikon the other week and this weekend he easily KO'd some dude on that Freedom Tito Vs Rampage thing.

I didn't expect one haha I was just expressing my excitement, it's not shown in the preview but Bryce Mitchell insinuated in the comments that he's also on that card, so that would be really cool.

I have mixed feelings about these wrestling royalty types. On the one hand I'm always glad and excited to see them join. On the other hand, wrestling at that level is a small community. There are upsides and downsides. But I'm still excited.

Wasn't commenting on the dude you mentioned. I was talking about Hamdy Abdelwahab just because I think you might be interested in him as he's an Olympic wrestler from Egypt. I don't think I structured that post very well.

He beat Greg velasco in amateurs which is pretty impressive. Amateur wins only mean so much but it's still something.

How good are Egyptian wrestlers, though? Mahmoud Sebie was such a bust that I find myself skeptical of Egyptian wrestling.

Not sure really. He looks okay so far, but I frequently get burned on heavyweights.

I think it's not merely the Egyptian wrestling part but also the Greco part. Good fighters can come from Greco, but like Volkanovski or Pavlovich they're often more well rounded fighters. Greco itself as a wrestling base isnt as good. Its rule set omits so many important elements of the MMA wrestling game. So like with say a D3 wrestler, I root for the guy, I support him, but I dont expect him to excel unless I see that he does have some well roundedness with the striking and the jiu jitsu.

Roberto Soldić would be such a great catch and also.. hope dream.. want Vladimir Mineev..
Heck to up The Middle weight division dream add Anatoly Tokov, Magomedrasul Gasanov, Reiner De Ridder, Magomed Ismailov, Magomedrasul Gasanov, Salamu Abdurakhmanov..

Thanks for giving me hope and dreams...
