Can’t find it anywhere. Don’t think it was streamed anywhere. Jean won by guillotine choke from what I’ve seen though.
Cheers bud, appreciate it.

I am guessing since he has 28 bouts and is 30. He is a good fighter, but not really a prospectI just noticed and was surprised to see Felipe Froes not on your list. Got another good win today against Ramazan Kishev. I'd like to see him against Omarov or Tumenov.

The UFC should sign Muslim Magomedov already...
So there is no English wiki page for Rustam Azhiev, but there is for his group, Ajnad al-Kavkaz, Abdul Hakim Shishani is his nickname.Askhabov bros have Luxembourg citizenship AFAIK. I don't think a visa should be too much of an issue.
Might be for Azhiev if that's true though, shame for them.
BTW I noticed Shara Bullet is training in Brazil and won the Arena Global LHW title at the weekend (although I haven't been able to find the fight yet), wonder what he's doing there?
Of course not. He deserves it, but the UFC and their ways. Not sure he's really their style of fighter tbh. Very methodical.

Really glad to see in his last fight his wrestling definitely improved, even if his opponent is maybe not as experienced. Would be fun to see him in the league, I think he'd break a lot of people's wills.

I didn't read anywhere that he was cut, but left voluntarily. Although admittedly I did limited research on the topic. Its not just the UFC though - Bellator just cut Mamedov. No promotion wants their upper echelons dominated by boring Dagestanis, and unfortunately the vast majority of them are kinda boring. Plus, I don't see any of the major promotions signing Russians this year at least.
Ok Rae Yoon is though? He was on there until I changed the rules. Not really a prospect.

Either way I'm interested in seeing what's next for Froes but not really interested in the Frodo re-match because of how badly he got beat last time. I'd like to see him jump promotions at some point. As a Brazilian it's not as hard as if he was Russian and if he joined say Bellator I think he immediately jumps into the top 5-7. UFC I think he's more of a fringe top 15 guy but still would like to see it.
To be fair, as far as Nzechukwu goes, he's usually very low output and only gets by on his physical gifts. His first showing on the Contender Series was dreadful.I didn't read anywhere that he was cut, but left voluntarily. Although admittedly I did limited research on the topic.
I think labeling some fighters boring and other fighters boring...obviously some are more than others. But it's a fluid status, and ultimately unreliable. I firmly believe that the most entertainment comes from the best fighters fighting. Just look at the past week's UFC 272 card. Devonte Smith and Kennedy Nzechuwku did not have reputations for being boring. But they're human. Smith used to be known as a big pressure fighter/finisher, but in his last fight he just got knocked out by Mullarkey, and that must have done something mentally to him. He came out against Klein and did head movement drills for 15 minutes and basically lost without putting up a fight. It was a tremendously boring fight. Kennedy Nzechukwu had also been considered an electric prospect but he froze up against the boxing of Da Un Jung. At least in that fight he got first round finished while throwing nothing. But because of how negative that experience was, the fear of getting knocked out, he threw nothing for 1.5 rounds against Nic Negumereanu, and basically only started throwing this fight after he'd poked Nic in the eye 3 or 4 times, probably the 5th or even 6th finally successfully shutting Nic's eye completely, getting a point taken and losing in boring and anticlimactic fashion.
So even a fighter who people think "he's not so good but he's at least fun to watch", if he is instilled with fear once he gets knocked out by good fighters then naturally as a human he'll draw back a bit because he doesn't want to get knocked out. I think a good fighter can become entertaining much more easily than a bad fighter can become good.
Do you have an eye on anyone in tomorrow's BFL card? Poulter/Mirzaei jumped out at me as a pretty decent fight between prospects, took the dog in that one.
Poulter looked impressive up until I actually saw some of his fights. Doesn't seem too athletic and his striking is very stiff.
I think Russian fighters need to get themselves a nickname People probably wouldn't remember the name Sharaputdin Magomedov so much but Shara Bullet sounds fucking cool for example.

At least Shara Bullet seems to have escaped to Brazil.
