He's 2-1, he beat Scott Holtzman too. He's already moved up to 24/24 from what I can tell, usually as you keep winning they keep moving the wage up. They're usually pretty consistent with doing that to be fair, if you perform you go up the pay scale.

Shit, I forgot abourlt the Holtzman fight. I guess he has 1 fight left on the contract or do you think he is already on a new 24k/24k contract?

Yeah I think so, I think they review it every couple of fights if you're doing well.
 

Tofiq will be a free agent after NYE. He is an instant contender in any organization, not named UFC. This is the guy Bellator needs to fill their LW ranks. He had followed the money before, instead of the "UFC Dream", so it is a possibilitybhe signs with another promotion. Plus, he already has a W over Patricky and they could easily sell the fight. Tofiq vs Shabliy, Patricky, Primus, and Goiti would be fun AF. This is the free agents Bellator should be going after.

PFL for the $1 million dollar prize would be another option. He would be an instant favorite to win the whole thing.

At ONE, there would be some fun, fun matches like Eddie, Aoki, Ok, and of course Lee.

He said "If RIZIN is a good contract, it will stay at RIZIN." so he is following the money, so I don't imagine the UFC will outbid anyone for his services since they are in the cheap Contender Series contract realm. They didn't even doll out money for Gamrot or guys on his level

I honestly feel like ONE is broke. They aren't signing any big names and the guys who they do have, they aren't booking them often or at all, ala Moraes, Yuri Simoes, Bhullar, etc.

Last time the UFC offered him 12k/12k, I dont think his stock has risen since last year, given that he has fought only once, and he lost. I dont see the UFC making a big financial effort to sign him, tbh. Neither do I see RIZIN having enough funds to keep him again, given that they couldnt keep Horiguchi either. So, Im assuming ONE, PFL, and Bellator will be the ones who could make a financial effort to sign him.

Jesse Urholin

Another impressive performance from the man with the most magnificent mullet in the fight game. Urholin has hugely impressive grappling, positional sense and top control and once he's on top of someone he doesn't really seem to give them a chance to get back into the fight, just casually riding from position to position constantly throwing shots. I think a fight for the CW WW title that Garry vacated has to be next really. It'll be interesting to see how his stand up holds up against someone he finds hard to take down, but so far so good.

Paul Hughes

Country - Northern Ireland
Weight Class - Featherweight
Age : 24

Another impressive from Hughes in a fight he had to really dig deep in to defeat fellow prospect Morgan Charriere in winning the interim FW title. Hughes has an impressive all round game and is good everywhere. Can strike, wrestle and grapple to a high standard, looking to finish and do damage in all positions. Can be a little reckless with his willingness to throw down and it almost cost him in the 5th round here, but going through a war like that and emerging victorious will do wonders for his learning curve. He now gets to try and avenge his only career defeat and try to unify the belts against champion Jordan Vucenic (even if I thought Hughes won their first fight anyway).

Also shout outs (but not hype trains) to...

Dominique Wooding (25/England/BW/8-4) who outlasted Nathan Fletcher in sacrificing getting dominated early to taking over and getting the finish when his opponent started to tire. I still think Fletcher will go further in the sport once he fixes that stand up hole in his game a bit, but credit where it's due Wooding had a game plan, stuck to it perfectly and walked away a champion.

Oban Elliott (23/Wales/WW/4-1) who had a really impressive bounce back from his first career loss against Mike Figlak with a great win over George McManus. Dominated the fight and scored an absolutely flatlining highlight reel KO.

 
Oban is a weird name for a Welshman, I bet his mother is Turkish - Im sure it's a Turkish or Kurdish name and Wales has both communities.

I don't think they put too much thought into it initially, they had a spot on the card, Zaleski wanted on it and Benoit must have been on their list of people to call for a fight. If he loses then he's on the roster and will get another one, if he wins then he starts in the top half of the division. Not a terrible situation for him really.

Nice to see that u finally added Lucia Szabova and Ewelina Wozniak. U should also prepare some space for Penaz and Brichta. They both have very attractive fight style and are very complexed, mainly Penaz is doing suprising progress in ground game as Glory fighter. And is also enormous for MW

There is also Rasulov, one of the first who left ACB/ACA to sign with UFC and then returning. I think also Chuzhigaev, Bilostenniy left ACA (Ibragim I remember was in UAE in 2020 to take a short notice fight for UFC and Bilostenniy was saying that he left to sign with Western promotion) to get signed with UFC/bigger org. I remember reading that Nikaev is with Bellator because UFC wasn't interested in signing him.
