Most Meaningless Victories in the UFC?

I wouldn't say Yvel was a can

This. I wasn't gonna mention, because this thread is full of eh.. not great mentions. But yeah, Yvel isn't a can and so aren't most UFC fighters.

Wasn't that the victory that got Conor the titleshot?

Khabibs win over Conor. Was built up Conor was an Elite LW but in truth his an elite FW who can't really compete on LW.
yea but the fight still had to happen cause conor beat eddie....
so he was the undisputed lw champion
could you imagine if conor didnt fight khabib
him and his fans would claim he is the greatest lw ever

DC v Jones NC for the drug fail. Not only was fight meaningless in the end it held up HW and LHW for what felt like forever.

All decision wins without scoring a 10-8

And all WMMA wins

There’s too many to list but most are hype money fights of Conor and Diaz.

Both Conor vs Nate fights. They were pointless fights between a mouth piece and journey man but it also hyped both of their popularity.

Conor vs Cowboy

Masvidal vs Diaz

CM Punk

Meaningless victory, yes.

But in context, it shows Anderson falling off the cliff as well. He stood with his back to the cage, hands down, and let Bonnar have free punches at his face. I wouldn’t give too much credit to a fighter that was able to beat that version of Silva soon after.

Any win that is WMAA.
And before the white knights even start typing with their mask on, I feel women should be able to compete at any sport they choose.
I'm all for women's (equal not exalted) rights.
But other than Nunez, Shevchinko, Rose and a very select few others I wanna see WMMA as much as I wanna see a man breast feed.

Nowadays semi-hot women use WMMA as a stepping stone for porn/OF/stripping, so I guess it's not a bad thing.

I got this feeling when Mousasi beat on the ghost of Vitor. This was several years after Vitor was off TRT and he had been on a long losing streak and closing in on age 40.

What made it worse is how badly Mousasi wanted that fight and placed a lot of importance on that win personally.

Dude, I'm not a fighter but I've trained a lot. If I could KO Urijah Faber, even ten years from now, it'd be one of the highlights of my life. Some fighters you admire/respect their abilities so much it will never lose value with you. Imagine getting a 3 count on Hulk Hogan when he's 80. Doesn't matter if he's 80, he's still Hulk fucking Hogan.

Vitor is probably that for him

Then you lack a decent IQ level. If I was a fighter the last thing I would ever want do is beat up my all time favorite fighters who are now worn down old men.

and there's a big difference. I would love to pin Bill Goldberg. It won't hurt him physically. But giving a man I admire CTE over my delusional perspective? No thanks.

Vitor Belfort was not a worn out old man, you retard.

Throwing out IQ jabs when you can't even understand why someone would put personal value on beating Vitor Belfort. You lack the basic ability to work out another human's extremely simple motivation.

bolded: yeah okay lol. you lack the basic understanding of a kickboxing perspective, too. a competition is a competition. it's fun.

But if you had to say. Tito Vs Alberto Del Rio. Its not UFC but its pretty bad.

Vitor Belfort was not a worn out old man

-Age 39
-20 years of wear and tear
-45 combat matches
-1-2 in his last three
-3 years removed from his last TRT shot.

His condition at that point was in the same realm as your mental capacity now, so that is quite worn out wouldn't you agree?

The Vitor Belfort in his prime or TRT form, sure. Not the one he beat. Mousasi was one of the top MW's and should have been hoping for a big fight against the top MW's. Some of whom were also old like Vitor but nowhere near the wear and tear. Jacare, Romero, Rockhold, Whittaker etc.

I actually have a shot at beating 2021 Chuck Lidell, should I put personal value on that too, fucktard? I'm just trying to see what your limit is in this idiotic argument.

It's not a "fun competition" you child. Do you even follow combat sports? This year alone we've had snapped shins, arms, crushed orbital bones, severe concussions that will alter your future. It's not a fun little ball game, kid.
