Multiplat Monster Hunter Wilds "We Are So Back" Hype Thread

Anyone know if we can sprint attack? That's one my favourite things to do in Souls games and the lack of it always made combat feel like it was missing something in MHW.

I think he meant preload Thursday. But yeah, Friday is when you can actually play it. Probably not going to play it and just make a character. I hate when demos don’t save progress. Also, pro update isn’t until launch

You can run at then with a pointy stick and a piece of wood, and keep going even when you've hit something.

Consoles are doing better than ever before. Everything is, the gaming industry is simply growing. PS5 on track to sell more than PS4 and Switch may be the record holder soon. Then of course switch 2 releases soon
 
Capcom today confirms in financial conference call that Wilds preorders have already exceeded internal expectations. Heck, yeah. Happy for them; been on a tear these last years – sans already fossilised T-Rex excrement Exoprimal, lol.

PS5 is selling better than PS4 was year to year now. We have to consider it got off to a slow start because of the pandemic. Xbox truly is doing bad and Nintendo is in a transition state so sales have been down for them last few months. GTA VI will be a console seller. I think there’s a lot more to the story beyond the numbers.

Hearing it’s super easy. Not sure if that’s a big deal for me. Kind of nice not dying countless times every fight when I only have an hour to play each night. The expansion will be really hard I’m sure. Rise base game was on the easier side too

Like easy easy, journalists actually knocking down points for it being easy. Someone said they beat the game easily without even upgrading their armor sets much. Now I’m also seeing performance is awful. Still looking forward to it but I predict the game will get torn a new asshole and review bombed.

A lot of reviews says that the game is way easier than the previous installment...thought @Valhoven ? This seem to be a MH for casuals that like to get introduced to that genre. Might still- pick it, i loved MH Worlds.
