MMA Guru thinks Anderson Silva's resume is weak and that Anthony Hernandez could accomplish what he did in the same era thoughts.

Silva’s resume wasn’t weak? It’s not his fault but it was.

No offense but you and others have to make that excuse up to excuse away those losses fact is Anderson was knocking dudes out left and right during that time and before he got exposed in Pride, he never got better nothing that he showed in his game would point to that he went to Cage Rage as the same striker he was during Pride and that's where his success began he also went the distance with Lee Murray so it's not like he was invincible, his Pride record was 3-2 with wins over Stiebling who at the time was on a tear and about to fight Wand for the title until Anderson derailed him he also KO'd Newton had wins over Sakurei and Carneiro who was also in the UFC no he was just as good, styles make fights and Anderson was able to beat Maia and Leites by not fighting and exploiting the rules he couldn't do that in Pride with a grappler and got subbed.
No offense, but I think you are using MMAth and getting your knowledge from fight finder; I don't think you understand the context of this at all. That's a pretty silly rant. He was beating guys 100 times better than Takase and Chonan in the UFC, better in every way at everything. Trying to mental gymnastic his UFC wins against submissionists that are 100 times those guys into somehow counting against him is laughable.

No way dude I am 42 now and back in 2003 I ordered every Pride FC event never missed one of them including the bushidos so I'm not using fightfinder that's for casuals and if there's one thing I have it's the context you're dead wrong about that.

It doesn't matter if he beat better guys than Takase and Chonan they may have better records and more exposure because they're in America and the UFC but that's not the point, those two losses happened because Anderson doesn't do so well against submission artists and please don't bring up the Maia and Leites fights as I already explained Anderson stalled in the Maia fight and didn't engage I wonder why oh right because of his experiences getting finished in Pride.

No mental gymnastics needed your entire argument is but he fought better guys in UFC ya and very very few of them were submission artists and the 2 that were he didn't engage and used the rules to get around that, they were also the 2 most shameful fights in his career because he wouldn't engage them that's nothing to brag about but back to the point and that is styles decide outcomes of fights not so much quality of opponents sure Franklin or Marquart are better than Takase or Chonan but it's irrelevant because they don't have the skill to hit a heel hook or triangle on Silva.

He's not that fat.

It is weird, because he has very chubby cheeks, I also thought he was a big tub of lard.

What he said... hmm, I do believe Fluffy could beat most of the guys Anderson fought, and Anderson's competition wasn't that good, but what he said it is too much, though. I just don't see Fluffy getting that many title defenses.
