How bad stipe looked is being grossly exaggerated and the commentary team was heavily biased. Stipe at least tagged Jones a few times. Stipe was never fast or explosive. I think Stipe had an awful game plan. He stood at Jones ideal range. I think he needed to stay much closer and not let Jones use his kicks. Stipe is obviously not in his prime and probably should hang them up, but he lasted longer than most expected,
