I do not agree that she is the 15th best striker in UFC bantamweights. I do not see expanding sample size to include at least the top 300 or 400 ridiculous when she is referred to as a atrocious striker. I could have included every healthy 20 to 40 year old woman in the country who thinks they are a badass and Miesha would beat sensless.

My opinion is that she's overrated in multiple areas and you could've responded with no she isn't cause of this or that or ignore the comment, instead you chose to respond with a hissy fit.

You can not agree with the numbers all you want. They do not change to suit either one of us.

Tapology would be acceptable, but they do not have the appropriate data.

Find me somewhere with 300 or so WBW and the appropriate data, and I will run it. And clean it up, post all of the data, do an intro and summary. Of course, you already chose to not agree with some data just because it does not suit you, so I would be doing it solely for my benefit.

And the "every women is her potential competition" is the part that was absurd, and you know it. If you had included people based on the comment you made about 20-40, hopefully you stop missing your medication.

She is a decent wrestler, mediocre striker, great in scrambles, tough, and until Nunes had a great chin. (yeah, she had a head kick KO early). Quick to grab a sub, too, as she subbed Coenen in less time than it took Cyborg to beat her.
 
no she was looking ahead to a fight with rousey and got crushed. lost me a ton of money.

I thought you were above making comments like me missing my medication. And I stick to my statement that Tate should be compared to her potential opponents. And those opponents are females in her weight class who are training hard at MMA not just the UFC fighters. And I argue that she is in the very top strikers. No, her striking is far inferior to Nunes, as we saw. But that does not mean she is not better than almost everyone else. And let's not forget her striking was good enough to keep Holly at bay until she could get her on ground in 2nd and 5th.

You have something, in terms of data, that supports your claims about her striking? And as I said, even if the entire roster as per Tapology clocks in worse than her, she is still not going to be in the top 1%. There is no way, she is already too far down the list when just talking about the UFC. And there are plenty of women at 135 with incredible striking outside of the UFC, such as Miriam Nakamoto, so really, there is no way for what you said to be true.

I doubt that regional mma have fight metric stats. And as I said before any stat that pit Miesha's striking against the average 135lb female mma fighter is skewed because of the level of competition. Perhaps in haste to dispelled the ridiculous claim that she is a "atrocious striker" I overstated that she is top 1%. If I said she was in the top 5% of all strikers in the group I am using as her peers, could you go along with that? And thanks for the retraction on the meds statement. It is very easy to tell who is on here to have intelligent and interesting dialogue and who is not. You fall in the first category. Thanks

She should be compared against the same level of competition. Otherwise the comparison is meaningless.

And no, I never just "go along." I do not just work in research out of training, but out of a natural inclination to assuming things without sufficient support.

I am pretty sure the sun is coming up tomorrow, but really . . .
