On a side note, it's getting to the point where there could be a broke fighter sub-section of the UFC forum. These stories come out daily.

Well there are TRUE stories and made up ones.. and a lot of these are horse shit... Like Cannonier's or Miesha's... those 2 are def not making pennies on the dollar, 200k for 1 fight? and she spent 98% on training camp? These type of made up stories dont help figthers get more money, it hurts them because it makes people call out BS which is a very obvious BS and then people tend not to believe when a real fighter who is broke is telling the truth, like some or most of the undercard fighters.

Cannonier made 700k+ in 3 years of fighting and is somehow broke, Miesha made 200k in 1 fight after YEARS of not fighting, these type of stories are just not helping the fighter cause, they either have to do a better job explaining how they are so broke or stop trying to get pity tears from people when they arent the ones hurting like other fighters are.

And you know this how? ONE fighter you know? Please. GSP easily spent that just on coaching, travel and food, not to mention the costs of daily living, massage, physical therapy ( on top of coaching elite fighters usually have a team of people to help them with recovery).

GSP was making multi millions per fight so he can afford a no expense spared camp.

It wouldn't make sense for guys making 100k to be spending 50/60k on their camp.

Mendes was a top five fighter for years and this is what he said training at Team Alpha Male:
