Yes I can. Especially when, as I said, they’ve been widely available elsewhere for years. It’s a shit move that you don’t see in gaming.Know what I do when a franchise does something I don't like? I stop consuming the franchise.
Star Wars disavows the EU, I stop consuming Star Wars. Hitman goes Epic exclusive, I stop consuming Hitman. I have 3500 hours in Rocket League. When Psyonix got purchased by Epic, I uninstalled the game and haven't played it since. I have a Season 1 Gold Crown and all the Black Market skins I could ever want.
You can't ding one company for curating exclusives and laud another for developing them in house. I played Spider-Man on N64, why does Sony get a pass for keeping Spider Man exclusive? Everyone loves Final Fantasy, you gonna stop playing them since Sony monopolized the IP from Nintendo? Did you know the first Final Fantasy predated the Playstation? Well here you go, your favorite IPs will now be developed in house by Microsoft. If Sony gets a pass, then you can't possibly be upset with Microsoft. If you are, then you're simply not being consistent.
He’s just a shitty person. I really don’t care.Gaming sure is an odd hobby. You guys both love video games yet you’re each arguing that the other guy games more than the other one?
Jade Empire too..my bad. Then again xbox does cater more to western rpgs than the playstation. I think the original Mass Effect was released exclusively to the pc and xbox and so was KOTR before they both were available to the playstation a year later
Yeah I’ve said as far as investing in an Xbox there really isn’t any incentive if you can get them on PC, or in other words a Microsoft platform.@Dizzy is acting like Bethesda games will be removed from PC. This is the same guy who pops into every Xbox thread to announce that you can just play those games on PC anyways, so why'd you stop with the excuse now?

Sony bought the rights to Spider-Man fucking forever ago when Marvel was desperate. You can play FF games almost everywhere. Not getting the comparison.
But that is true. If I truly don’t feel comfortable with this and view it as bad practice for the industry then I shouldn’t support it in any way. We’ll see what they do with the franchises down the road. They already confirmed that it’s not 100% exclusivity so I’m going to listen and see what the plan is.

You’ll be able to play FF7 Remake elsewhere soon. I’ve already said I don’t like timed exclusives either. It’s a lame practice but they will eventually be able to be played by everyone so I don’t view nearly as badly as buying a massive publisher to lock out people who have been able to choose which platform they play those games on for years. You can play FFVII Remake on PC? You can play the new Spider-Man on Xbox? You don't see any issues with "timed exclusives" bought by Sony? Hell, they were negotiating for Starfield as a timed exclusive, you REALLY don't see any problems?

And here I am with a PS5 preorder, meanwhile I hate jrpgs and love wrpgs.
