They're also hard on the liver especially white ink. Black ink is less toxic than the other colors but typically a tattoo artist will add some white to help highlight and contrast the edges of a black tattoo.

Tattoo removal with a laser breaks apart the toxic ink which then immediately when then immediately gets processed by the liver.

Your liver either gets slowly damaged by a tattoo over a lifetime or it takes a lot of damage quickly with each laser removal session.

There's also a documentary that states that 80% of tattoo ink on amazon are china fakes.
Enjoy the heavy metals in your body, not that original tattoo is good for you, it's just less unhealthy.

It's pretty bad. I have tattoos and want to get more, but stuff like this shows the importance of going to a reputable shop with legit artists who don't skimp on the ink. Actually developing relationships with an artist/artists and ask what they use. Makes it a lot more expensive but it's worth it.
