He was one of the early guys who wanted to incorporate different fighting styles though. It will be like me trying to get Usman to fight any of the guys at UFC 1....

MJW is a fucking beast as a striker and has sparred with countless elite MMA fighters, martial artists and boxers. He knows very well what these guys are capable of in a real fight.

If you're talking about pure striking, it's just an embarrassing mismatch and comical to even suggest someone like Perry would beat him.

if he used his grappling, then it becomes interesting. MJW is a black belt in Japanese jiu jitsu or whatever but it's likely that's his weak point. Perry is actually super strong and his jits is highly underrated. That's where he could make it a fight, potentially.

outside of that though, Perry would get embarrassed and easily.

I grapple, have tons of medals in prestigious judo and bjj tournaments all over. Rolled with a bunch of the grappling forum guys. I often extend an invitation to a roll with the Heavies posters who talk lots, but none ever accept.

And it's not even like he's an extremely successful actor who had to stop competing because of Hollywood, he had one lead role in 1997 (he was already 30) and the rest is mostly direct to DVD crap. He had no excuse to not seriously compete before that if he was that good.

I don't think they actually sparred. It seemed as though they are at different skill levels....a white belt doesn 't spar with a black belt. He is more like kimbo's sensei than anything.
