Media Merab Disses Khabib

who said they are not ordinary people ?
they work hard and most of people that work hard can achieve similar outcome

Merab is definitely a great fighter, but he’s starting to bite more than he can chew.

Merab is absolutely right.

It's good that more and more people actually start to open their eyes to what khabib really is.

There has NEVER EVER EVER been a dominant fighter like Khabib

GSP, Jon Jones, Silva etc they all got their ass beat in their career

Jon Jones vs Gustafsson or vs Reyes he got his ass beat

Even if Khabib stayed for 2 more years there were no one in Lightweight who could give him problems

This little Georgian goofy gremlin midget has cardio and thats it.... he couldn't finish an old men in that octagon

Even Topurias little ass got his shit rocked with that high kick... you have never seen Khabib get rocked... he took all the kicks Barboza had for him and kept marching forward

All i see is inferiority complex coming from these Georgian fighters

Michael Johnson wobbled Khabib and had him backing up. I wouldn't say "rocked" necessarily but it definitely was a punch that had some effect. Wasn't close to a finish so don't lose your mind and go on some rant because it's not what I'm claiming. But acting like Khabib never had a moment in the cage where he looked a bit vulnerable is false.

R1: 10-8, R2: 10-8, R3: submission

I like Merab. Calling Dagestani fighters “really good” is a gross understatement and highly inaccurate. It’s a diss. When players used to try that shit with Michael Jordan, they usually regretted it on the basketball court. Let’s see if Merab lives to regret this one. That was a very tough fight.

And? My post was in reply to his reference of Herbert landing a head kick on Ilia. If we're comparing Khabib/MJ to Ilia/Herbert, I guess we can say Ilia only needed a minute into rd 2 in order to finish so that head kick mattered even less than the punch MJ landed.

This is a prime example of taking someone's words and twisting them around to make a different, clickbait meaning.

Fuck you TC

"Wobbled" is an overstatement ... "felt" and "affected" are more accurate, the latter which you said.

Khabib was in no way in danger, "rocked," "wobbled," etc.

Khabib did feel the power, circled away, and that was all there was to it.

It was an extremely minor event, that people like to over-analyze, because of Khabib's otherwise near-perfect performances in every fight.

He stumbled backwards. Some of it balance, but it was a punch that landed clean and he clearly he was very much affected by it.

The other fight would be the Tibau fight where Khabib was outlanded slightly and was stuffed on every TD (Tibau got one). Was hardly a "robbery" because not much happened in a boring fight but it sure was anything but a "near flawless" performance by Khabib. Ane he easily could've lost. To where it's much closer to him having a blemish on his record than Ilia (so far) which was the entire point of my initial response.

Pretty hard to argue that what he is saying isn't truthful whether you want to believe it or not; he has proven it's true with his fight.

Beating Umar was better than anything Khabib ever did in MMA by a mile. Khabib never faced that tough of a matchup, so I don't know why anyone would say they are the same in terms of competition. Who did Khabib beat- Conor? Dustin? Justin? Come on man.

A gross understatement? Then Merab must be a deity because he beat them; he must be even further beyond "really good" than them.

lol comparing them to Michael Jordan. More than one of them has lost recently. They aren't that great.

how is 37 year old aldo at elevation(already has shaky cardio) as good of a win as khabib, a cardio machine with some of the best grappling we've ever seen in the UFC? Aldo just lost to bautista because he refused to get off the fence, he is not the same challenge as khabib at this age
It's going to be real embarrassing for you when you find out Khabib literally turned down fighting Aldo for the interim LW title.

i'm sure he would accept to fight 37 year old aldo at elevation like merab did if he planned to hump him against the cage for 15 minutes.

If Khabib thought he could hump Aldo to a decision and win an interim title then why didn't he

because it was a prime aldo, not at elevation, and khabib isn't a fail 30 takedowns and hump against the cage kind of fighter because he fights with skill and tries to finish fights unlike the sport ruiner merab who doesn't care about ruining a legend's chance at a title shot in the most boring way possible

Not really a diss and I'm a fan of Khabib.

Another click bait headline.
Same. I took it as he didn't fight someone worthy of beating him, but he isn't unbeatable.

Not he was fighting unworthy fighters (cans). Also Merab's first language not being English. People have to stop trying to force things into being attacks.

Difference between merab and khabib is that merab did not avoid any potential fight.

Khabib ducked prime tony and also always chose to fight strikers.

It would be very interested to see khabib vs Arman.
