How is this a diss? It's a fact. Khabib retired before he lost, but he still did retire before he lost.

On the other hand, Topuria hasn't done half as much as Merab did, nor did he ever face someone as good as Khabib, which in my opinion Umar is, but this guy is running his mouth and dissing Dagestani fighters.

That’s not what he said, pretty misleading. Definitely taking a lot of liberties with that interpretation. He’s saying they’re human and not unbeatable. Khabib can lose too, just didn’t encounter the person to do it. Saying everybody can lose isn’t a diss.

I won't say he's only beaten scrubs.

But he never entered that realm that long reigning champs do where they fight lose/lose fights against no names because they already cleaned the division of legitimate competition.

Those are the checks hardest fights.

Jon when he fought Gus 1 and Reyes. They were no names when they fought Jon and ended up giving Jon his hardest fights.

GSP lost to Serra when every expected him to steamroll Serra and Serra was only getting a TS because he won TUF.

Silva lost his title to Weidman who was a no name.

Khabib never entered that realm. He only fought other recognizable, established fighters.

In my humble and relatively meaningless opinion, that longevity is the hardest thing.

Staying focused even for fights that don't excite you.

Wow way to twist his words big time TS... He basically just said everybody is beatable which is a factual statement. Not like he said he won the belt by beating a real estate agent, made his first defense against a retired coke addict who is now 1-3 in the division, almost exclusively fought strikers aside from RDA who got manhandled by multiple similar size guys to Khabib at 170 and got subbed by Cerrone twicen in bjj. He's not mentioning that Khabib nearly died every time he made weight so that he could have a size advantage and refused to fight at 170 despite missing weight 2x.
