I took a vacation day today because Monday is also a holiday. So able to extend the weekend. I wouldn’t say it’s a mental health day, but was sick of looking at the computer, so seems like it was a mental health day.

That's already a thing there are people that are pros at working the system. We had a guy at an old job we would joke he was employed for 8 years 4 years actually worked. Some of it was legit like off twice for parental got into a motorbike accident then a few stints of stress leave. lol and i'm sitting here feeling bad for two days. haha

My job is low stress so I don't really ever feel the need. I'd rather use time off when I'm doing something important or going on a trip. I mean, I guess I could just take random days off, I have unlimited PTO.
