Melvin Guillard Potentially Getting Cut?

I like Melvin, and, well I don't think he's as "extremely talented" as he thinks he is.

Certainly not as much as everyone else thinks he is either.

I agree man and you can't lose as much and be extremely talented he had all the tools to be but never put it together and don't think he will.

I agree. I think Melvin would be a great matchup against Micheal Chandler and also would be an ideal headliner for WSOF. I wonder if he could actually compete in both orgs?

Bc he lost and got ko'ed his last fight making it 2easier in a row and not doing.to well his past few as well. I feel he will get one more and if he loses he's gone for a few.

"I don't know" means Guillard is NOT getting cut. He's a veteran in the octagon now and a entertaining fighter even though he's ran into some losses and bad fights as of late. At the same time though there's a thousand guys just like Guillard right now not employed by UFC. I think life would go on if Melvin Guillard wasn't on my tv anymore on UFC fights. So that's UFC's decision if they like him or if he didn't suck enough of Dana's dick this week.

With both wins being argued as wins for the opposing fighters and every fight has been an absolute snoozer.

And he tested positive for a banned substance after one of his fights yet he's still on the UFC roster.

Couldn't agree more o don't know what it is about shields that ppl think he's exciting and a dominant fighter. Also herman would most likely ko'ed or worked him if he didn't retardedly grapple with him.

Certainly not as much as everyone else thinks he is either.

He's physically gifted, not technically. His sub grappling hasn't really evolved and he's still a speed/power striker like he was 5 years ago. That athletic talent is old news. He can beat anyone with it, but isn't consistent because his skills don't evolve to the next level, and he does get cocky like against Lauzon when it's time to break into the upper tier of contenders.

Cutting him isn't a good move though, imo. He's an above average LW, plus that it was a split decision loss. His div doesn't suffer much if he does get cut, too many good fighters on the mid-level.
