He's been pulling this same circular shit for almost 20 years. Not that I don't wish him well, but he will need something different like a near death experience.

Mayhem might be one of those guys that just needed the absolute worst to wake him up. I didn't think jail would clean him up all the way because jail isn't scary to a guy like that.

I think lockup where he's located wouldn't be a desirable situation. Cali is bad. Lots of facilities have unwritten rules stating that if you grapple your head is getting stomped in, and Mayhem's strength was never his fists. Where he has an edge is that he's legit crazy, which will both make some of the guys who'd wanna try a pro fighter, to see where they stand, not wanna try him, and also make peaceful guys not looking to fight look to fight. Also, though, it's that while everyone in prison loves a fight, and the entire tank will tell you they've watched the UFC since 1987, obviously any of us here could call these clowns on their lack of knowledge very quickly, bc none of them are educated in the sport (or very, very few are, I met maybe one dude in over 2 years who was with it), so, for all these dummies know, Mayhem was Ngannou when he fought and they don't wanna fuck with him. He could probably legit scream "I trained with Tito and Rampage!!!" and they'd think he's a beast with his hands lol.

I fear, though, he's going to learn in a much harder fashion than I did. Prison was enough for me. He may end up losing someone or killing someone or something to that fashion, and I hope that isn't it. As you alluded, there are plenty who get thrown in lockdown that haven't learned anything and already have plans to fuck up before they're even out, and I could see him being one of those, unfortunately.
 
Looks like the kind of guy you would see on the Steve Wilkos show that impregnates 15 year old girls.

In all seriousness I hope he gets better but it’s getting harder to sympathise with the guy. He’s got plenty of people around him willing to help, and fans that stuck with him through a lot of the earlier shit.
I know people going through similar things without half the support and forgiveness that he has had.
