Mayhem Miller posts statement, apology

I bet he smashed that chick after the fight lol

"When was the last time you fought??"

"Idk, forever ago..." lololol

Dude was a character, really wish life hadn't taken the turn it did for him.
He got like 5 words in in 3 minutes lmfao pretending to fall asleep and shit lol

I'll never forget the first time i ever saw him it was the GSP fight and in the pre fight promo they do right before the fight he said "Im a certified badass" with that classic Mayhem smirk i became a fan right then and there. Obviously can't condone a lot of the things he's done later in his life but it's tough for some of these guys they get punched in the head for a living.

isn't he mentally ill or was it the drugs? i remember seeing him on Ariel's show years back pretending to be some Irish dude, like a character he was playing, but it was really awkward and weird because Mayhem was getting angry that Ariel kept calling him Mayhem instead of his Irish character.

I used to read his stuff 15 or more years ago. He was always very articulate and a great writer.
Really? Never knew this. Life can be rough. Sounds like he at least has love. If you have to lose all else, keep love.

Holy crap! I never knew Mayhem beat Lawler. I always knew Jason was a tough hombre but that puts my opinion of him in a whole new light.

Obligatory:

The one thing we can hope in the TKO era of the UFC is the return of Japanese/wrestling entrances.
Hoping Jason gets better. This seems like the most sincere he's been, and it takes some people having a hand reach out to them at rock bottom to realize. He seems to have traits of BPD, which is a horrible disease to deal with when it's someone close to you, let alone when it's happening to you. Wishing him the best, it's never too late to turn it around till you're knocking on pearly gates.

Very common problem for those leaving incarceration.

not to be heartless, but he has always been reckless, belligerent, and all over the place. his interview with Halwani (the one where he was throwing stuff and climbing on the desk) was incredibly cringe.

he clearly always suffered from mental illness. the drug abuse obviously exacerbated it.

If he lurks on here, mayhem what's done is done. Wish nothing but the best for you going forward

That was his character Lucky Patrick from the Movie Here Comes the Boom with Kevin James.

He took the loss to Kevin James pretty hard imo

That pic represents a man who's been through hell and back in his life.

I really liked watching him fight pre-ufc. Guy drove across tge US and lived in van in the parking lot so he could get good training in.

Sucks to see him in this send. Sending him some good energy!

Based.

Glad he's taking steps towards making things better.

That's the best thing I've ever heard him say.

I hope he gets help. I hope whatever he does sticks. Fighters usually aren't all that well adjusted before CTE and pain killers, so I'm sure his demons are tougher to fight than most.

I remember a promo he made with Team Punishment way back in the day, was down ever since bc he was Team Tito. We share family name, and while that's one of the most common family names around and we likely share no common relation, I always support the Millers of the world. Definitely makes it hard, though. I'm a Miller who found his way, maybe he can, too?

As I said above, my last name is Miller, I was a hellraiser for a long time, and basically had to go through what you described to find my way. He likely has better resources than I had to get my shit together, hopefully he takes it seriously. If I can do it, anyone can, they just have to really want to.
