His striking defense and gas tank are mediocre at best.


He can’t keep that wrestling pace for 5 rounds and his striking defense isn’t good enough to keep Topuria from testing his chin eventually. He’s already been rocked and wobbled multiple times in his career.

In a five round fight Olives would’ve taken that imo. Arman got tuned up on the feet and resorted to LnP to win the close decision. He was absolutely gassed by the end of that third round.


It’s how Gamrot drowned him. Arman wasn’t even bothering fighting off Gamrots underhooks by the fourth and fifth round of their fight. Probably carries too much muscle for his frame coupled with relying on explosion for his strikes and scrambles.

Arman earned the title shot long before tonight. If ilia ducks Arman it will be a travesty.
