Make the BMF belt a yearly event

As I said, I prefer MMA to be a sport. If they create this title, what are the criteria to determine who fights for it? Now, if they decided to do a ‘fan favorite’ fight every so often, whatever they decide to call it, that would be cool. Maybe even have a fan vote for either individual fighters or specific match ups.
As for the BMF title, my objection isn’t that it’s too ‘ghetto’, it’s that neither of the guys fighting for that belt last night was the baddest in the division, much less the entire UFC. Off the top of my head, I can think of a half dozen guys I would favor to beat both of them, so how does a fight between them determine the baddest?

My friend you looking at all wrong, kind of. Having a fun event for the fanz is what sports is all about that's why they have all star games so people can get to see their fantasy match-ups what other criteria do you need other than people like you or hate you as long as they pay to see you or the other guy/gal what other criteria do you require..?

I think most people just turned off by the name BMF that was something Nate popped off with and Dana ran with don't mean name as to remain the same. If it's a fan belt call it that or "The People's Belt" or lets make no bones about it and call it a Money Belt because you get paid that night to win it, call a few well heeled sponsors throw in a fancy sports car too.

In no way do I think an event like this takes away from the actual divisions or even a current title holder fighting for it they can get their ass kicked and still keep their division belt, but people will talk...
