Americans have this odd obsession with guns. I can own a gun and I don't give two shits about the NRA or if other people can get access to them easily. I care about the wrong people getting access to it. It's not that hard to regulate the industry.

How does a registered sex offender get a gun?

What's the laws in the US when it comes to selling a gun second hand? If you buy a new gun and want to sell your old one can you sell it yourself or do you have to sell it back to a dealer? If you sell it yourself are you responsible for keeping a paper trail?

I'm English so I'm not sure how it works with second hand weapons if it sounds like an obvious question.
