Machida/Henderson 2 - Does anyone actually care?

I love Lyoto but this is a really dumb fight. A win does little for him, since he did it before, and a KO loss is always possible against Hendo, which would be pretty disastrous. The first fight was a sleeper too. I'm always stoked for a finish added to Machida's already-stellar HL reel, but this one is risky.

I have a lot of interest in this fight because of Machida. He is one of thosefighters that Idon't care who he fights or where he is in the rankings, i'm a fan o the guy.

But this fight is a legend vs legend fight. That's it, none of them are on a title run. This fight reminds me of Hughes vs Serra, Shogun vs Minotouro, or Randy vs Coleman. People will tune in to watch it.

Everybody is expecting him to destroy Hendo but I think he'll play it quite safe and the longer he does that the more dangerous Hendo is going to get

Could see it going either way, I don't think it's going to be easy for Machida at all

I like the Rashad fight too, I think he beats Glover

I always love watching both these guys fight. They have entertaining and unique styles to me.

I know this fight doesn't have the hype of a title contender eliminator but I think I will tune in for personal entertainment.

agree, but i could also entertain the idea of henderson just retiring and not fighting anymore now that he looks like shit in basically every fight.

I'll always be happy to watch legends like Machida and Hendo fight but they are terrible together. The first fight was snoozer and I don't see how the second fight will be any different unless Hendo's chin is so ridiculously gone that Machida lands anything and he gets the KO.

Hendo stalks, Machida evades. Repeat for 3 rounds.
