Machida/Henderson 2 - Does anyone actually care?

I have no idea why they put this shit together when Machida vs Belfort made absolute perfect sense.

Oh wait...classic UFC matchmaking...

Machida is my favorite fighter, so I'll watch it, but I don't see the point.

No offense to Dan or his fans, but I'd like to see Machida KO Dan and ride off into the sunset here.

It sucks for me cause i like both guys, i dont wanna see none of them loose.
But it would be cool if Hendo wins and retires in style.

I care. I like Machida and I hope this isn't a boring match like the first one. I also hope Machida brutally KOs him.

UFC care, they gave Machida chance for redemption after Romero destroyed him,
and Henderson is given a chance to show why he deserve to be KOed again .

The UFC has kind of become like the movie industry, they've run out of new fresh ideas so their doing remakes, Total recall, Willy Wonka, Conan, Planet of the apes, Poltergeist, ect. Funny thing is the rematches like bad remake movies always seem to not be quite as good the second time around, or maybe I'm just cynical.

The best we could hope for is a replay of their first fight i suppose. Wasnt the most exciting but we go to see machida do what he does.

I fucking hate Dan Henderson's fights.

Nearly 20 years spent watching his career and yet I just can't bring myself to like anything about him, or how he fights

I might respect the fighter for the athleticism and training, but goddamnit man. Hate the fights

Wow.

Dan Henderson is the classic all american tough guy,a dont give a shit all outta bubble gum dude like robbie lawler and chuck liddell. Its hard NOT to like him.

Ive heard forever that belfort dont want no part of Machida.

I guess if Hendo wins it will help him in the rankings, but Lyoto has literally nothing to gain here. I'm not sure why he took the fight actually. He already has a win over Dan, and he is ranked #5 at middleweight while Hendo is ranked #14. He should have turned that fight down and asked for Bisping or Jacare or something.

This fight is on Hendon, he forces the action it could be good. Problem is Machida has the younger legs which means a lot of dancing and running with very little combat

I love the fight, I think it dresses up the card.
My thing is I enjoy watching the fights, not everything has to to have title implications. That said a lot of the casual fans that will be joining us Saturday night will remember Machida (Hendo too) and are stoked he's on the card. So basically IMO solid vets dress up MMA cards.
My thing is I don't want to see either of these guys fed to young lions, so a match up like this is awesome

Nope, don't care. Pointless rematch to a pretty lackluster first fight and even if you go by rankings it's like #5 vs #14.

could be worse, it also doesnt help that Ferg/Khabib got dropped from the card
