Machida/Henderson 2 - Does anyone actually care?

They should have done the rematch as 5 rounds. Last time they didn't start engaging till late.

I'd be shocked if this one even goes 3 rounds, a lot of people think the first fight is boring and everyone's entitled to their opinion but if Machida lands the kicks Saturday he landed on him three years ago Hendo will be going to sleep quick. Dan could take those back then, he can't now.

Lyoto is my all time fav, he's been champion and his best days are clearly behind him but I think he can still beat the Bispings of the world but if he wins this weekend I'd like to see him go out on top and retire, last year was rough and he's clearly declining I don't want to see him go down the road Hendo is on.

Henderson still fighting???

I'd rather see them fighting some up and comers and that way the new guys get the chance to beat the legends in the sport

Huge Machida fan. After the first fight, definitely not interested.

Same here.

Its a legends match up, I just hope Machida front kicks his head off this time.

I'd rather see Lyoto vs Lil Nog but Rogerio is booked against Cummins at 198. Yeah, not MW but still.

Hell, I'd rather see Lyoto vs Vitor, Nate the Great or Bisping over this rematch. Even Lyoto vs Nick...

...when you take into account how sleep inducing the first fight was, it's really perplexing that this fight was even made again.

Give it chance, guy...maybe these two wanna leave a good impression before they call it a career.

Big machida fan but it's the most pointless rematch... And that's saying something lol....

machida is (was) my favorite fighter and I couldn't give a rip about this fight. Machida has nothing to gain from it and Hendo has nothing to lose from it. I wish Chida would move down to WW. It would be a somewhat tough cut but well within general UFC standards.

he will of course beat hendo though

They can leave a good impression against someone other than each other though. Especially considering the first fight fucking stunk and they've both gotten progressively worse since then.

I'll watch because I'm a Machida fan but no, I'm not super stoked on it.

So, you'd rather see these dudes in squash fights as opposed to seeing two legends of the sport go at it again?

What the absolute fuck are you talking about? Who said anything about squash fights?

I like two legends fighting. Just not if they've already fought and the first fight was retardedly uneventful.

If you're a lyoto machida fan, u most certainly care.He needs a finish or a 15 minute beatdown to give machida fans some hope.If you're a hendo fan, lets face it-the dude is 45 years young and the end is nearing(even if he finds machida s chin ....and then he should definitely leave with that as his final memory in a hall of fame career)

Because Machida's fights are notorious for being barn burners, right?

I have no idea what you're talking about.

You tried to say I was hoping to see the two in "squash matches," then when I told you no one said such a thing, you decided to tell me "Oh well, Machida is boring anyway"

No, really, what are you even saying? Not that it's even remotely relevant but there wasn't really anything wrong with Machida's last like 4 fights anyway.

I hope they both retire, but I want Lyoto to win by some head kick

I care and i am not a huge fan of either guy. I am gonna enjoy this fight, I think Machida wins by TKO this time

Machida needed an opponent. Hendo has been calling for the rematch for some time now.

Machida probably TKO's him.
