After reading that one thread, I feel like I've already seen the movie.

Yeah... I said the same thing but then decided to go see the movie and it was actually pretty good. Most of us rap fans know the history of NWA and how the group came together but seeing it played out in movie form was kinda cool.

Things like seeing Jerry Heller and NWA's reaction to hearing Ice Cube's "No Vaseline" for the first time. That scene is classic. LOL

"Medicine Man" is the best track Eminem has spit in years. Vintage Em. Overall, though I'm not a fan of the genre, I must say, the album kicks ass.

No studio would fund a movie about any of those guys to put in a theater. Mainstream doesn't know nothing about The Eastbay Gangster...
