I agree. Bethe got a title shot for holding up 4 fingers . No wrestling experience , bjj blue belt. Striking not elite. Now a lot of men's amateur fighters might only have a bjj blue belt, but a lot did wrestling in high school and college. Also they aren't in the UFC, ranked and getting a title shot.

Exactly Rhonda and Tate are the only complete fighters in the 135lb division.

Rousey just happens to carry at least 15lbs more muscle than Tate.

The problem is this:

Ronda's game more or less sucked ass when she started out (particularly her striking). She had Judo and learned some go-to subs (arm-bars).

Then the UFC hyped the shit out of her (what was she, 4-0 at the time?) and made her this superstar which gave her all the money. So you've got this mega-money-making superstar who can buy a diet-plan, top trainers, equipment, camps ad-nauseum, fighting what amounts to amateur fighters in a small circuit/talent-pool and killing them all.

Yeah, not a fan of a micro-niche women's sport being trumpeted as some great league comparable with the men. It's a bold-faced lie really.

Not really fair Sara McMann, Miesha, Cat are all really good fighters, they are just not Ronda. If not for Ronda either, Miesha or Cat would be the champ IMO. I don't see that it's that much different in most divisions. LHW Rashad is still ranked in the top 5.. He has fought like 2 times in the last 3 years.. The issue remains Cyborg. It's a legit super fight with this weight issue constantly hanging over it..

Forget it. There's no reasoning with them. Today, the anti-wmma sherdoggers are in full Discredit Ronda Tantrum Mode. There was a clean faceplant KO in a UFC women's fight and they're going off the rails about it. They told us it could never be done.
