Kind of makes MMA look bad

Brock wasn't like some Olympic gold medalist, he was a college wrestler, and it was 8 years before, with no striking or submission training.

You can give the greatest athlete in the world all the steroids you want and have him train 5 hours every day for 2 years straight and then play Djokovic and he wouldn't win a game. Hell, he could play #900 and would get embarrassed. Do the same thing with the same guy in boxing, kickboxing or MMA, and he's world champ in half that time.

A 48 year old retired boxer came over and KO'd a recent champ.

Well, I guess you've shown another aspect in how unique MMA is from other sports.
Kicking ass is just different from kicking a soccer ball or hitting a baseball or playing in the NFL.
But for some reason I don't agree it makes the sport look bad.
Some people are born to kick ass.

Fedor was just a sambo guy and managed to stay undefeated for years and years and is arguably the goat heavyweight.
