Jones entered the sport when the skill level was primitive by today’s standards. That’s like saying Royce is the GOAT because he knew what a triangle was before the American publicKhamzat is probably the most dominant..
But Jones was the most talented prospect..
Khamzat steamrolls opponents in conventional ways, where as Jones was doing things we hadn't seen before, his creativity was off the charts..
Khamzat is simply fast, very fast. Compare that to the slow, plodding Kamaru Usman and you can already see who the true champion is.Being this dominant is also a form of creativity. If you've absorbed just 2 strikes in 4 fights then you're doing something unique that nobody else ever has.
eheh "if Jan can take him down Khamzat can as well"Adesanya isn’t bigger than Khamzat. I’m not sure he’s faster either. He has more tools as a striker that’s the only thing I’m sure Izzy has an advantage. It’s Izzy’s TDD is solid, but if Jan can get him down, Khamzat can do that as well.
Usman is definitely a harder fight for Khamzat than Izzy. Khamzat vs Usman will determine who’s the best WW of all time
Hazmat is a muscular, lean build. Look at him. Don't let your hate blind you.A khamzat nutrider?
Sure you will be loving it if he can get down to 155 and show his throws there as well but it's all good "if he makes weight".
He already had a loss and a draw by then though. He'd accomplished more than Khamzat at that point in his career, but he wasn't more dominant.
The only fighters you can really compare are previously mentioned Jones and also Ronda Rousey who was a world champion and 9-0 with 9 finishes and 8 first round finishes at that stage.
Cody Garbrandt. He went from unranked to the BW champ in a calendar year, in his 4th year as a pro. 2022 will be Khamzats 4th year. When 2016 started Cody was just a promising prospect out of TAM. When 2016 finished he ended Dominick Cruzs reign @ BW. KOd or dominated everyone en route to BW gold and didn't drop a round until the Cruz fight.
Weidman is a other worth mentioning. Short notice, broken rib against Sakara who was a top 20-25 MW on the best run of his career. He didn't "dominate" Maia but won every round and had one of the worst weight cuts ever. 32lbs in 10 days. Didn't lose a round until the Lyoto fight.
This happened in 2011, the bigger kid had copped years of bullying and the school/s did nothing about it. Well until the over-weight kid fought back and the video went viral and the news did a report about it. The school principal and Vice Principal of the school were forced to resign and alot of heads rolled because of the incident. The kid had been bullied non stop for years and no matter how many times he's parents said stuff to the school nothing ever happened. The poor kid finally snapped and pulled a wwe move out, and the little shit of a bully paren'ts tried to sue the school and the bigger kids parents for the injury the kid got.
The bigger kid was a walking punching bag for years and he finally fought back and hasn't been hassled since.

The news report:>
Cody is a good shout. I think we're just talking up to 9 fights, Cody had been dominant in all his wins to that point and in his 9th fight smashed a well regarded Takeya Mizugaki.
Weidman I would say like BJ, more accomplished by 9 fights, but less dominant looking in those fights (but against better competition). I'd say the same for Joanna who I would have name dropped if it wasn't for the close Gadelha fight (but Gadelha was a lot better in the context of the division than anyone Khamzat has fought).
I remember when GSP was coming up the ranks. He was great, but I don't think he looked half as dominant as Khamzat is right now, though GSP fought better competition.
Jones, Cain, Conor all looked pretty dominant, but I don't think not quite on Khamzat's level.
I wasn't following MMA in 2002~2003 when Fedor was more of a prospect, so I can't comment on that, but having watched his fights after the fact, he was mauling people. Khabib didn't look this dominant either. I mean he lost to Tibau let's be honest.
I know people love Cejudo and all, but not even close. Cormier was good, but he wasn't this dominant.
I have a very difficult time trying to remember someone who was as dominant as Khamzat is looking right now. I consider his win over Leech and his MW win legit wins.
The question is, is Khamzat the most dominant prospect of all time?
We can but that's not his name, DeroureyCan we just call him khazmat? His name annoys me.
Khamzat just had his 10th fight. Cody melted Mizugaki and Almeida by then. In his next fight he'd end Cruz's reign. Khamzat would have the usurp Usman next year to overtake Cody TBH.
Weidman wasn't pulverizing the same way as Khamzat mainly the fights that went to decision but like you said far better comp and he still didn't lose a round or was in any real trouble until the Lyoto fight.
