Young Erick Silva vs Khamzat, I'd love to see.

With all the jokes aside, Young Erick Silva was an exciting fighter. Too bad he came to the UFC a little too early.

What Khamzat is doing is special but Conor had a similar aura when he was coming up through the ranks. The mystic mac predicitions combined with the movement training was something very unique. He looked unbeatable until he ran into Nate lol

Conor was very dominant. But the question was always there, can this guy wrestle?

But not with Khamzat. This guy is knocking out guys and submitting guys and quickly too

I miss that hungry Conor. Money ruined him. And his shit coach doesn't help either

He definately looks strong although I would say that seeing him go long and potentially be in less perfect situations might tell us more about him, espeically in terms of mental toughness.

I think so. Conman had already lost before his UFC debut and that pixie color haired clown is nothing but a can crusher.

Umm no. Mendes(who was on short notice) fight showed that his cardio was sub par and his ground game was average at best .Infact i would say he looked unbeatable before the Mendes fight.
I would argue that the Mendes fight showed that he could battle through adversity and still find a way to win. Sure, Mendes was a short notice replacement but anyone with two functioning eyes could see that Conor had a very hard camp and came in to the fight not even close to 100%. Just look att the weigh in pictures and the backstage altercation with Faber lol, dude looked like he would drop dead any second.

Practice says a lot to be honest. People know what's up from the sparring sessions. It's a big deal in boxing because the sparring sessions are practice fights. Lots of fighters get ducked due to what happens during sparring sessions in boxing/mma.

Corey Anderson just KO Bader and he was saying he used to easily beat him when they sparred together.
Hendricks said he used to beat Gastelum whenever they sparred and we saw how the fight went. I remember Cormier getting KO'd by someone whom i dont even remember now but i am pretty sure Cormier would beat him in a fight.Sometimes practice might indicate a lot but it doesnt always tell how would the actual fight go.

He's fantastic, but not the most dominant. For example 9 fights in Penn had beat Gomi and then reigning WW champ Hughes to become p4p #1.

What about talent of opponents? With regards to UFC fights, I think Jones was thrust into the spotlight fast and dominated for year. Khamzat is fighting who again......right folks who can't string together 3 wins.

He already had a loss and a draw by then though. He'd accomplished more than Khamzat at that point in his career, but he wasn't more dominant.

The only fighters you can really compare are previously mentioned Jones and also Ronda Rousey who was a world champion and 9-0 with 9 finishes and 8 first round finishes at that stage.

Ronda fits the bill, as in she took very little damage and finished fights right away, like Khamzat does.

But when you start to define dominance faced competition matters. It's not there for Khamzat. I'm sure we'd all agree he'd look human against Usman. Penn dominated the Usman of his time in less fights than Khamzat has. He basically took zero punches. Jones faced good competition early as well.

Khamzat hasn't faced the same level. But for how he's looked he's been unstoppable thus far.

The Man was beating Stephan Bonnar with striking he saw on youtube.

He actually lost the 3rd round and was getting boxed up by Bonner in that round lol but ppl only remember the suplex and spinning elbow since it's on the highlights

all of Jon’s fights up until he became champion were ridiculous. So dominant. Just saying watch them before proclaiming barely tested Khamzgoat more impressive.

You should actually rewatch the Bonner fight instead of remembering the highlights of the spinning elbow and suplex. Bonner won the 3rd round and was outboxing Jon lol who's boxing has always been shite
