I truly believe Khamzat, weary of his cardio and inexperience in a 5 round fight, was in 2nd gear in a lot of his top control. I think DDP was ripe for finishing but Khamzat wanted to win the belt rather than risk losing the opportunity by chasing a finish.

The grappling difference was, as expected, miles apart but it's not a strength difference. It's technique and anticipation.
