since he has an upcoming main event. lets live some of his recent performances.
The man had a dominant performance after a very fked up fight week with confronting artem, being attacked on the bus and have multiple opponents with different styles change last minute (tony, max, felder, pettis, iaquinta) and he said yes to every single one of them. remember when jones turned down chael on short notice?.

He then walked into hostile crowd all booing him after weeks of insults and very personal trash talk. note that conor broke aldo, eddie and others without being as hostile. with khabib he went as personal as he could get and khabib still performed flawlessly.

you guys talk about how nice it would be to walk into brazil, or abu dhabi and beat the home crowd guy while being booed. he did that and it was as personal as it can get.

Your mental game is always strong when you're winning. Once struggle and failure comes, only the strongest, toughest survive.

Khabib is guided by his father from a young age and they also have a billionaire behind their back who can pay Khabib to train and travel overseas. That boy never felt a true struggle.

Khabib has an incredibly strong base of physical strength & durability, along with that life long intensive martial training... one not from Americanized MMA camps.

Against a truly skilled striker, he'd be in trouble. Fortunately for him, he's in the UFC.<Oku02> He's not gonna be intimidated by MMA bullsheet.

Yeah he's mentally tough but when you're the one chasing the dream of being champion it's different than being the champion and trying hold onto that belt.

He's definitely mentally tough though and I hope he continues to be a fighting champion but respect to the long reigning champions.

You probably don't make it growing up in Dagistan without a good degree of mental toughness.

Shocking. Another Khabib worship thread by this guy.

He has me blocked so won't see this anyway but this dude really loves him some Beeb. A lot.

Inside the cage yes, he doesn't break.

But it's hard to judge outside the cage when he's with 20 people most of the time.

The only time he was alone/low numbers, he stayed on the bus.

Ridiculously staged and horribly done so by the UFC letting 30 random people backstage with no security while people with cameras just happened to be on stand by? Right....

Getting off the bus might have earned him some respect points with Sherbums, but there was a high probability he would get suspended, lose money, lose the fight he was there for in the first place, and possibly lose his big money fight with conor. Conor knew all that and that's why he chose that time to be a tough guy.

Khabib’s badass, what’s not to love? Unless you’re a Conor nutgargler

He stated recently he doesn't want to move up to 170 because he would not have a size advantage.

So I would say he is weak mentally, plus he has dropped out of multiple fights highlighting his mental weakness further.

But still the best LW in the world.

Why should he move up to fight guys way bigger than him? To get cool points from random sherbros? Look at dos anjos, cant beat any legit 170 because he just gets smothered

Staying hungry while being an undefeated world champion that’s embarrassed every opponent he’s ever faced takes immense disciple and focus.
