Two official judges gave Gaethje round 1. Ergo, Gaethje won round 1.

Khabib won round 1 but since he should not have gotten all three rounds against Tibau it evens out.

Only the Conor round actually happened though. He really did lose that round, and the judges correctly called it.

Scoring round 1 for Justin is just flat out insanely bad judging, and is a good evidence for the sport needing open judging.

Like, Khabib came out and steamrolled Justin in round 2. Could you imagine how hard he'd have come out if he knew the judges had just awarded Justin round 1 lol

Khabib is a different animal than he was in the beginning of his ufc days. He took some hard shots by Gaethje, but was seemingly unphased, you could tell he didn’t like it, by his takedown shots, but he wasn’t desperate, he didn’t miss.
