How are you calculating the force of the bands at the top?

By measuring the distance, then, after I'm done training, flipping the bands and hanging dumbbells from them until the band stretches the same distance. At this point, I've used my short mini-bands enough to know about how much I'm getting at the top with different setups.

you mean I don't get to do any mirin' from afar? Crap. I wanted video... for entirely educational purposes, of course.

Another way to measure it is to keep note of the height, step on a scale, have someone step on the bands (or wrap it under the scale) and lift the band to the desired height. Then subtract your actual bodyweight from the indication on the scale.
I've actually have wondered this here and there, is the act of squatting and deadlifting attractive to a female?

well, okay, let me clarify here. Watching a guy who can move serious weight and do it proficiently is really impressive to me because I KNOW the dedication it probably took to train to that point of strength, and dedication, to me, is straight up hot.
Are the movements themselves, uh, also hot? Yes. Okay, fine, yes. Everything about it is hot. I'm not supposed to be thinking this way about this in the gym, crap.
Judging by the # of women that watch my partner & squat & DL in our gym, YES.
How do girls do this? how does a personality trait like dedication become sexually attractive? I'll never ever understand how your minds work.
also, given the number of girls desperately seeking attention and turning the gym into a dating pool, enjoying a look or two is okay.
how many guys?
That said, I thoroughly enjoy watching Keo do various lifts because it's goddamned awesome and every once in a while, yeah, I think about the fact that he's hot at the same time. I'm sorry Keo, it's the truth. I've tried so hard, but I can't rise above my hormones. Arrrgh, why am I posting this.
You are sorry because you find your boyfriend hot?

Once you step in the gym, the only feelings you're supposed to have are killing it, and motivation-shame. It's only common sense.
