Keosawa's Powerlifting Log

::hides from babyeater::

I have to admit, the responses I get make posting these (and prostituting my body) totally worth it. And I'm going to have to alert her to these--as well as the responses--the next chance I get.

Can I be your pimp ?

Funny how you get more positive feedback on your nudes than I do on an all-male forum. I'm going to go cry in a corner now.

I'm pretty sure nobody else wants the job, so it's yours.

I think people find my physique more an odd little curiosity than anything else. Little guy, quite skinny, pretty strong: some people on here just find that interesting.

Plus, rarely do guys post these on here. It's sort of taboo. When I first did it, I think posters were more surprised than anything else.

Your biceps are bigger than mine, Happy ?

I can recall Urban doing it, late in my lurking days. I'm not even sure why I remember that.

If I did it no one would come into my log anymore, so I don't do it for the sake of my log traffic and the good of mankind :D

Is your physique important to you or do you just post it to shame the guys on here even more? :)

A few years ago, I felt like I looked better (certainly "bigger"), but I dropped a lot of weight (close to 30 lbs. now) for powerlifting. At the time, I decided that powerlifting was my primary concern, and that looking good was only secondary.

Truth be told, my physique isn't important to me. It's a vessel, a tool with which to compete. But taking progress photos has allowed me to examine how my physique has changed and continues to change. This is important to me, because I'm a strong believer in trying to mimic the physiques of the best lifters in one's weight class. If you want to be near the top of a weight class, you should look like a strength athlete. If you want a big squat, deadlift, and bench press, then you should be built appropriately. I try to maximize my physical advantages for my sport, and though I certainly don't have the "ideal" physique for powerlifting, that's the end-goal.

Now, the nice thing is that the "ideal" powerlifting physique (at least for someone at my height) coincidentally also looks pretty damn good, so I don't have to ruin my body to pursue my goals.

So, no, I'm not trying to make anyone feel bad, though I sort of doubt I'm capable of accomplishing that; I am 5'4", after all. I will post these as a reminder that no, I'm not skinny fat, however.

There has been alot to take in the past couple pages.

For starters, it looks like I am going to have to post some full monty pics in order to win the Gaypril thread. This is not a deal breaker for me, but I was hoping it wouldn't have to resort to that.

WC, pm me some newdz and I promise I will send you back some positive comments. Do not tell Goon, as he deadlifts 515 and I'm sure can literally squeeze my head off my neck.

Biceps without curlz = I am confused

Last, when I was flipping back and saw the Homer Simpson gif I thought there was going to be a story about Keo making sweet sweet love to babyeater. I am disappoint.

Other guys understand the work its takes to get to your level and can appreciate that. I don't understand why it's taboo to show progress pics, you earned it show that shit off.

@WitchCraft, your progress pics looked good to, guys probably just don't wanna look like creepers posting shit like they can on keo's pics.

I know. It looks horrible. But it worked for perhaps the best deadlifter of all time...

If the program adds 30 to 40 lbs to your DL, that would put you over 600, right ?

Don't worry; I won't be in competition for the Gaypril thread.

And I admit that I don't know what I'm doing with a double-bicep pose. I think my body momentarily became a medium for the apparition of Zyzz. I was definitely channeling my inner bro. And regarding the biceps, you apparently don't need to do a dozen variations of curls to have them. They're small muscles, and I've yet to see someone who lifts weights but has no discernible bicep muscle. It's certainly curious.

Finally, I won't be logging the, um, extra cardio I've added to my training. The dutiful athlete in my thinks I should keep track of the intensity, frequency, and duration of said cardio, but that's all confidential information.

Sure, but lines like, "this program will add X to X lift" should always be met with skepticism. If that were the case, Lamar Gant would have been, by my estimation, at the very least a 1200-lb. deadlifter by the end of his career. At some point, those gains diminish.

Good point.

One more question, Have you ever done a similar DL program ?
