Other guys understand the work its takes to get to your level and can appreciate that. I don't understand why it's taboo to show progress pics, you earned it show that shit off.

@WitchCraft, your progress pics looked good to, guys probably just don't wanna look like creepers posting shit like they can on keo's pics.

I suppose you're right. It's taboo because this sub-forum is concerned with performance, not aesthetics; for this reason, it's unusual for progress pics to be posted.

Possibly, yes.

There's only one way to find out though. And no, I certainly haven't decided to try this program after April. It's just an idea at this point, and one I'm not even entertaining that seriously yet. I'll cross that bridge later.

My joints were really achy today. My paused sets at least went fairly well, and though my speed wasn't great, my two long sets felt good, and I left some reps in the tank on each one.

On a more serious note on a non-serious topic, is your lack of any noticable body fat all that uncommon among competitive powerlifters? Every weight-class-based sport that I can think of favors the leanest competitors at the heavy end of their class; is powerlifting all that different?

After some (admittedly little) thought, it seems to me that your build might stand out here at Sherdog because we have fairly few posters who actually compete, and those who do are all up in the heavier weight classes with no incentive to cut fat weight.
 
Oh and Keo a question about the bench routine that I'm doing right now. On my work set days (5x5,3x5, etc.) Do you think it would be beneficial to add an AMAP for the last sets?

I don't think it's uncommon at all. In fact, I'd say it's the norm for most good, competitive strength athletes below the highest weight classes; even a lot of the 275-lbers. are pretty lean.. At my weight class, it's hard to think of a single top lifter who doesn't have relatively low body fat.

I would avoid it for a cycle or two. Give yourself time to acclimate to the program, which admittedly is very volume-heavy. Once you feel you can handle it, trying an AMRAP set on the last work set would be beneficial. I would just be careful not to over-extend yourself too early.

LA seems up to it, though who knows how many form videos you'll have to make for him in order to correct his technique.
