Elections Kari Lake pulling ahead

Good question, but ultimately irrelevant.
Perhaps, but if your argument is partially predicated on the idea that it isn’t a human life and that’s why it’s okay to abort it then I think there’s a conversation to be had. If it doesn’t matter either way then why even engage in a semantic argument over what it is.

What a profound post , “ republicans will vote for a republican that want to secure the border”
Lol so you try to spread racist rhetoric
It was even but Hobbs ducting debaters vs her primary and lake hurt her. She flops a lot, you realize Hobbs is hot trash ?
Meanwhile on racism topic … Hobbs

EXCLUSIVE: How Arizona's Democratic Governor candidate Katie Hobbs organized her high school's 'spirit week' - where students took part in a 'slave day' and bid for younger students to perform 'degrading' tasks
Democratic gubernatorial candidate Katie Hobbs was a student leader at her Catholic preparatory high school when pupils took part in a yearly tradition known as ‘Slave Day.’

So you're going to hold her responsible for a tradition held when she was in high school in the eighties? That sounds perfectly reasonable (not really), but if you hold your own representatives to the same standard there won't be any Republican representatives left.

And Lake won't "secure the border", Republicans never do. They just SAY they will and that's enough for you, you're like children.

Lake is just a prettier Trump, a television personality with absolutely no experience in administration. Listening to her it's clear she's a lunatic, surely you see that?

And Hobbs is trash for a racist ceremony when she was a kid in the eighties but Lake is OK despite endorsing white supremacists this year?

I have no idea how your brain works.

Fair enough. But someone who is braindead and on life support is definitely human, but the decision over whether to pull the plug is between the family and the doctors. The state and the church should have no say in these decisions.

Reactions: Err
Don Lemon actually asking a tough question?? To a democrat no less??

What the fuck is happening to CNN?

John Malone.

CNN was purchased and they're being pressured into being more conservative.

They were always more neutral than Fox as evidenced by the many posts like yours over the years incredulously pointing out their criticisms of Democrats, but now it's official. The most left-leaning personalities have been fired and the rest have been conforming to what conservatives want.

Television and radio overwhelmingly belong to conservatives now (who paradoxically will continue to cry about the MMM) but that's OK, only old people are reached by those.

Who’s the white supremacist, so you give a pass for tradition I bet you celebrate Columbus Day then. A pretty “Trump” is better than Hobbs who is ridiculous. When CNN and MSNBC craps on you You ran a failed campaign

I have definitely celebrated Columbus day, I'm half Italian and didn't really have much choice or know better. These days I don't really care and never think about it. I guess this means you'll cancel me?

I still haven't heard you make a compelling argument for Lake, but that isn't a surprise as there's no compelling argument to make. She's inexperienced and insane.

I don't know how much CNN and MSNBC crapped on Hobbs but it's likely if they are it's because this should have been a lock, there is no good reason to vote for Lake outside of partisan politics.

Also, and you should get used to this, CNN was bought by conservatives, so you can stop using them to show what liberals believe. You'll probably ignore the stranglehold conservatives have on television and keep complaining about MMM liberal bias but absolutely nothing you say is ever rooted in truth.

...still waiting for you to sell me on Lake. Who is exactly Trump. And supports everything he ever says. Trump, the guy you say is terrible.

When does it become a human.
A constitutional person you mean? In the sense that it is meant in the Due Process Clauses? I would argue that happens at birth, actually, and not before. But I’m fine compromising in the way that was done in Roe or Casey, so that the state can have *some* say. I can buy the idea that the state has some compelling interest as pregnancy develops. But in the first or second trimester, the government has no business in the matter AFAIC.

OP, are you trying to say that Kari's head game is on point?

My question was more philosophical/scientific in nature. The Unborn Victims of Violence Act uses nomenclature that would suggest the state believes an unborn child/fetus to be a person, other laws/acts state the opposite, so the states position isn’t really a concern to me because it’s too muddled and confused to draw anything conclusive from.

Well, crime isn't exactly a small issue, so yeah, there's that(that "defund the Police" garbage is coming back to haunt the dems). There's also the immigration debacle, energy, and a sleeper issue with education. Now, I'm not going to get into the minutia of all the candidates' platforms and give you 900 links, but ultimately, like most elections, most are looking for an alternative if things are bad. Things are bad, and the Dems have total control. Hence, people are gonna look for a correction of sorts. The Republicans represent that, which is why they are poised to walk away with it.

In terms of inflation, you have an administration that denied it was happening for a good year. Will the Reps fix it? Probably not to any significant degree, but when the people in charge denied it was happening while spending TRILLIONS of dollars, in the face of average people seeing it coming a mile away, it speaks to their competence(or lack thereof). The Treasury Secretary literally admitted to not understanding certain elements of inflation. Not a good look, especially when the other side was raising the alarm the whole time.

To put it simply, this administration is failing on all sides. Why would people vote for more of it?
Why would people vote for more of it? Because millions of Americans are zombie retards who don’t live in reality, but in a utopian Marxist fantasy world people like AOC and Biden dream about.

Reality doesn’t matter to these people. It’s a religion, and no amount of evidence will shake their unwavering faith in Marxist garbage.

Yeah, the Unborn Victims of Violence Act is a whole can of worms lol. I’ll just say I don’t really agree with it from a constitutional perspective. I would say that at least in the early stages of pregnancy at minimum, the fetus should not be considered a human victim. The mother is of course, and she could also sue the attacker for damages related to loss of the fetus.

Ultimately, the abortion issue to me is a constitutional one. The Due Process Clause states that no person may be deprived of life, liberty, or property without due process. So the questions is, “What did the Constitution mean by ‘person’?” And it’s true that the answer to that may not please everyone. I despise the death penalty for example, but I can’t say that it’s unconstitutional. Likewise, you or others may despise abortion—but is it constitutional? That’s the question, and one that I think the Roe and Casey Courts actually got pretty much right.

Ironic, coming from an absolutely brainwashed partisan hack.

You’re an imbecile. But I have neither the time nor the energy to illuminate that fact. Besides, even if I did, there’d be a infinite number of imbeciles just like you to school, and there’s no hope for you anyway so it wouldn’t be worth it.

No, you just don't understand politics, so you dismiss anyone with different views as an imbecile. You are a thoroughly ignorant partisan hack. What is sometimes called a useful idiot.

You have zero insight into any actual issues, you just parrot talking points and propaganda. You probably actually think that what you say is true.

I’m not really arguing against the legality of abortion as it relates to the constitution. I’m pro choice to a certain extent. I think that abortion should be legal up until viability. I also believe that life begins at conception because it’s seems to be the only tenable position. It’s just strange to me the linguistic gymnastics people will resort to in order to avoid calling it a child or a human being when their position wouldn’t change even if we could conclusively and scientifically say that it is one.

While I don’t agree with Heretic’s summary of Dems, there are some things I don’t like. What should I do—vote for a fucking quack TV show “doctor” instead? A wife beating football player who is dumb as a fucking eggplant? Maybe that semi-literate pillow salesman will run <45>
Or maybe I could bitch endlessly about how much I hate the media, and then go vote for Kari Lake, who is literally the fucking media and has been for decades. Repubs have gone full retard. Stop running candidates that are con-artists, TV personalities, sports figures, and game show hosts and you might—*might*—get my interest.

You’re accusing Kari Lake of being the media. But that argument is dumb as fuck. Just because she was a news reporter for many years doesn’t mean she had to be part of the scumbag leftists who make up 90% of the MSM.

There have always been some people who are part of the media, yet have the courage to stand up to their woke trash counterparts.

Dude, she left the Republican Party in 2006, and registered Dem in 2008. Is that the “courage” you’re referring to? It wasn’t courage either when she peddled conspiracy theories and misinformation as news—but that’s what you guys live for anyhow.

My point is this: our candidates aren’t the greatest, but your candidates are straight trash. I think it’s really sad, for example, that Fetterman suffered a stroke—and truth be told, I understand why some are concerned about his fitness. But the alternative is a fraud fucking TV wannabe doctor, dude. That’s not a viable candidate. Neither was Trump, neither is Herschel Walker, and a bunch of others I could name.
Maybe in 2024, Dems will sway some Republican voters by putting the ShamWow Guy up for president or some shit. <Lmaoo>
