She didn't "back out," lol. It was never agreed upon (unlike Trump backing out of the ABC debate that WAS already agreed upon).

Trump's demand to have the FOX debate in front of a live crowd of MAGA morons might have something to do with it. Just a deeply unserious proposition.

On a side note, I have to say, I never understood why candidates shouldn't get the questions before a debate. Don't we want them to think about them and give their best answers? Why it is important to select a President based on who can come up with an off the cuff answers to something?

Why is it important to demonstrate understanding of issues without receiving briefings and advice from experts? Isn't the function of an executive to put the best people around them and make decisions based on weighing the best information available? Why is it an executives job to be "original"?

Sorry, I'd rather get deliberated, substantive answers to questions rather than seeing who can talk out their ass the best with no fact checking.

I think the implication is, if she has the answers and ability to do what she says she can, why isn’t she executing her strategy in her current role and if it is something she is capable of, why isn’t she advising Biden on doing it now.

This is one of my bigger issues with her as well. It’s just like when Biden ran and spoke about all of the great changes that he was going to make. You’re the VP, and especially in Kamala’s case, you’ve had 4 years to advise the president with your great ideas. What are you saving them for? Are you withholding them from the American people until they elect you as president?

If you truly care about America, make the changes now, especially considering that there is a drooling Mr. Magoo placeholder in office until January who does exactly what he’s told.
