Fair enough. but old hooker would have gassed after 7 minutes with gamrot. His conditioning at least has looked better lately. I still think he beats gaethje. Probably in a fight he's losing until he wins lol

For some reason I could see Hooker absolutely knocking Justin dead back to shadow realm but could also see Hooker breaking in war like vs Doostin and Edson jr.

I think Gaethje’s performance against Max had more to do with the clash of styles, I believe he’s still near his prime. Justin looked as good as ever against Fiziev.
Maybe Hooker can incorporate some of Holloway’s tactics and fight at range, though. Very interesting fight this.

not an excuse but I think that his nose getting smashed after one round had a lot to do with how he performed. I don't think it was a clash of styles ones a technical brawler ones a boxer both are primarily strikers.

In the wise words of Chris Leben - you box a brawler and you brawl a boxer. Max just had a better gameplan.

Thats probably fair. Hooker appears to be a bit of a headcase (from some of his public statements and his radical transition with tattoos in a short period of time)

I have no doubt he's working diligently, I just think we've seen the top of his physical and skill level. Also don't think JG is really in decline, he's always been an incomplete fighter who over swings. He's a hitter though.

IMO Hooker can't take the big shots. Justin will eat some for his troubles, but he TKO's Dan.
