They're great! I wish theyre was some background music though

i took my favorite mix cd, copied to my computer, took bas' cds and did the same thing. then opened up an audio editor and mixed them together and bingo, background music. i just put it on my mp3 player, but you could burn it to cd too.

only took like 5 minutes to do.

yeah this workout is really fun, I like the thai boxing work out on the bag, the all around workout non-stop is crazyy. great cardio.

How do you guys throw the kicks after the combos. I feel that I am ending up too close to the bag and if I back step to throw a kick there is no way I can keep up with the pace Bas sets.

Also my bag ends up moving around a lot [80lbs]. How heavy are Thai bags?

To answer your questions: I usually throw knees instead for all left leg (4!) and a low kick with the right (Right Straight Left Hook!) to keep pace. That is one reason to throw the kicks: They stop the bag from swinging too much as the momentum from the punch sends it crashing into a knee or kick.

ummm...Easy CD-DA extractor to rip the cds to .wav files and then i used Soundforge XP digital audio editor to merge the files and adjust the volumes so that i could hear Bas clearly over the music. then i just burned with my favorite burning program Nero.

you can use any digital audio ripper/extractor that you want as long as it can rip to .wav files, but i know you can do a 30 day trial of the one i used if you go to download.com. same goes for digital audio editors, i'm sure there are some free ones that you can use.

the only tricky part is getting the music track right. if you want to have a custom mix you have to create one long .wav file consisting of each individual song playing back to back which means a lot of cutting and pasting. i was lucky because i already had a few DJ mixes/sets available that i didn't have to edit. since they were DJ mixes there were no breaks between songs.

Thanks man I'll use that to see what I can do

Boss is the BOSS. Love his tapes.

Did you all know that Bas is a trainer for Podfitness? This is a peronalized workout program that is offered for Ipods. You put in what equipment you have, what your personal goals are, etc...and you pick your trainer. Thier instructions are mixed with your own music for a custom workout. I noticed both Bas and Jeremy Horn are trainers. I almost signed up, but soon found out that DRM protected music is not able to be used in the mixing, and all my music is Itunes. Kind of ticks me off that I can't use the music I PURCHASED! :(

If you're interested the website is www.podfitness.com

Since I never got to try it I don't know if the workouts are good or not, so I will not be held responsible if they suck. LOL!

K...

Man, this is the best fuckin workout i've ever done, and I didn't get bored for one minute.
I'm tellin ya, if you wanna get in shape, buy this shit, it's definately worth it.
Seems like everyone on here who has it said great things about it also.

His all around MMA workout CD is the bitch of the bunch!

I also used a cheap sound editor and made 4 and 5 minute rounds from Bas's cds

Are those the 6 audio CDs that come with the big book of combat?

No. Those CDs are just Bas going through the books and explaining in greater detail what they're showing in the pictures. His MMA workout is 4 audio CDs and 1 video DVD. The CDs are the workouts themselves, and the DVD is him explaining how you can use it.

Anyone have any expierence with the boxing CD? I just bought the set and I'm ready to get started.
