Jones unlikely to take Gane down and hold him there. Jones doesn't have Ngannou strength.

I'm not sure who is going to win but Gane has to be the most overrated figher going. He's technically great but he's shown zero killer instinct in any of these fights. That wrestling against Francis was embarrassing.

You should watch some Spencer Lee videos on youtube. You will see how a smaller athlete is able to hold down a bigger, faster, strong one.
 
I don't think it's going to be easy for Jones to take down Gane. He's improved his wrestling, I'm pretty sure, he's also very quick learner.
 
Has Gane ever faced a wrestler or grappler in the UFC?

Jones has fought faster and better strikers than Gane. Remember, Gane only looks as fast as he does because he’s fighting slower heavyweights. I highly doubt Gane is faster than Reyes and Santos and even then, those guys out landed Jones by small margins. Side kicks to knees will be an issue for Gane’s bladed stance as well. Only way Gane wins this fight is if Jones’ cardio suffers from going up in weight.
 
tell me you don't know grappling without telling me you don't know grappling.

You don't have to have crazy strength to keep someone down. Leverage, body and hip control, grip, amongst other things are all factors to this.

He's wrestling with people in his weight class. He isn't fighting bigger/stronger wrestlers from higher weight classes. How does that compare to Jones fighting Gane? It's nothing alike. Don't mistake height for size and strength.

He out wrestled Stipe for fucks sake, and Stipe has more experience in the wrestling department than Jones. That should tell you all you need to know. Almost everyone had underrated Francis's wrestling big time imo. It's pretty clear how much better he got just between the 2 Stipe fights alone.

Gane by 3rd rd TKO. I'm extremely confident this isn't gonna go well for Jones. This isn't the dominant Jones we've come to know from years ago.

Stipe is a striker... why does he have more experience? Stipe got wrestled by DC, Jones wrestled DC... Yes, I know... LHW DC is not the same as HW DC, but still... why is Stipe such a great wrestler?

Not a Jones fan, I hope Gane wins, but come on... Gane looked clueless on the floor vs Ngannou, who also looked bad.

I'm just reporting what was reported. I personally started wrestling in 4th grade, so I understand what you're saying.

Ye and he couldn't get Reyes down. Doesn't work like that, does it? Also, Stipe has NCAA Division I Wrestling
 
It's not about strength, DP was talking about how Khabib didn't feel insanely stronger than anyone else but his use of bodyweight and leverage was on another level, if D1 Francis can hold and control I'd bet Jones can do the same
