Jones unlikely to take Gane down and hold him there. Jones doesn't have Ngannou strength.

Actually, the scientific fact is that when they weighed in Jones was the bigger guy. The more skilled wrestler is unquestionably Jones. Who is stronger is yet to be determined. Skill beats strength 9 times out of 10 in wrestling anyway.

Winning close fights does not mean you are past your prime. Too many people around here look at this shit like it’s a goddamn video game. Every great fighter in both boxing and mixed martial arts had very close fights, wars, that’s the game.

Jones has the adequate strength and technique to take Gane down and keep him down, regardless of whether he's weaker than Ngannou.

Gane is not as good grapler as Ngannou.
Which means he would have 50/50 chance geting up.

Gane has gd balance, and will not be taken down easily.
 
Jon has always been a stud in championship rounds. If his conditioning is at the level it has been plus his wrestling skill (if he actually brings it) I would think Jones still being 80%-90% in the 4th / 5th > tired NNN @40% with knee issues or whatever probably isn’t stronger than Jon at that point. I do believe Gane wasn’t really prepared for it with NNN and will much more prepared this time around. I have Gane winning on the feet.

But I’m not in the hater spectrum where I got Jones getting demolished out of wishful thinking. I’m like 60/40. Crazy how many fighters, analysts and the betting line is favoring Jon. Maybe I’m an idiot? I really want to see Gane and Shavkat win. This is the first time I’ve legit went against Jon so I’m not some moron that picked him to lose every fight for the wrong reasons (emotional mental midget shit) hoping to eventually he right.

Jones is one of my all time favourite fighters and I’ve never picked against him …..Until now ….Gane wins by tko imo ……same thing for Anderson I never picked against him until Weidman 1 ….Think people are underestimating Jones decline…..Struggkle with Santos and Reyes …..now he’s older , slower , less stamina and he’s inactive……hmmmm I’m not confident in Jones at all ( hope I’m wrong )

Sure, but that argument doesn't have any validity until after the loss actually happens. You might as well have said 10 years ago that Jones was going to lose against Sonnen, because "he wins until he doesn't." It would have sounded foolish then, and it sounds foolish now.

I truly believe Jones is gonna get tired trying to maneuver big boy Gane combined with the added weight on himself as well, just my opinion.
